LEILA’S POV
EARLIER THAT DAY
The minute I walked into Winnie’s bedroom, she bombarded me with questions, squealing at the same time.
"You need to tell me. That’s like the fiftieth time this week."
"Calm down, it's the fourth?" I rolled my eyes, and she lay flat on the bed, throwing her legs in the air with excitement. "Come on, Leila. Pleaseeeee!!!!"
"Okay, okay, I’ll tell you." There’s absolutely no way in hell that I’m going to tell her we kissed. She’d scream the packhouse down and commit m*********r.
"He just wanted to know why I didn’t serve him today."
