Baine's POV
I kept looking back at Mia in the mirror. She looked different, and I don't think it had anything to do with the conversation we had outside of Colby's truck. She looked more pissed and fiery than I had ever seen her. She just glared out her window the whole time. It almost looked like she was plotting something. She looked like she was out for revenge.
Something had to have happened because she's never looked like this. Even when she was telling me about Shawn and what he did to her, she never looked this pissed. I just couldn't figure out what could have possibly happened in such a short amount of time?
Colby linked me. "Should you really be staring at her like that?"
He made me feel so f*****g annoyed. "Shut up. It's not like that. Something is up or something happened.
