Kuya Alan and I watched Voltes V and Daimos on TV today. Can you believe it? Even if I’m not responsible for putting the robot cartoons on the air again, I feel like I have just slapped Mr Marcos in the face. Ha ha. You are no longer here to ban them ever again, you dictator thief!
Kuya Alan says he can’t believe he ever liked these shows. Now he prefers to watch basketball. He and Tito Simon can’t stop talking about the new PBA Season. President Cory’s daughter tossed the ball with General Ramos to begin the games. Everyone wore yellow. Watching it with them, all I could think about was how she had lost a father too.
