Chapter 14

Gia’s POV

We arrived back at the office. DJ excused himself to get Nathan so Val and I waited in the lobby. The receptionist eyeing us the whole time.

“What is her problem?” Val asked

“You noticed too? She human, I can sense her. Greed and jealousy surround her.”

“I mean I can see why, Nathan is gorgeous and im sure she knows he’s off the market now. All these men are gorgeous, why didn’t our pack have men like this?”

I can’t help but laugh. Almost all of the men from Willow Moon try to look and fit in with the royals. It’s pretty pathetic actually.

The elevator dings and out walks Nathan. He walks straight over to me and takes my necklace off.

“There’s my beautiful girl.” And kisses me deeply. I can’t help but swoon over this man. I believe he truly wants me for me. I don’t know how much of the mate bond is to blame for that but I’m not going to question it.

I look over at the receptionist, surly she just witnessed my appearance shift.

“Don’t worry about her. She knows of our existence. It’s kinda hard to keep things quiet when we have all kinds of weird things happen in this lobby.”

I wrap my hand around his. “Are you girls ready to go? I’ve finished up my work and we can head over to our home now.”

Our home. I have a home, one I’ll never have to leave.

“Yes, I can’t wait.”

“Actually Nathan, Gia wanted me to wait until tomorrow but I want to talk to you about join your pack.”

“You want to leave Willow Moon?”

“There’s nothing for me there anymore. It doesn’t feel like home.”

“Are you a rouge?”

“No, I’m not.”

“Then if you don’t want to declare yourself rouge then I will have to discuss things with your alpha.”

We both know that’s not going to go well.

“How is Gia able to come with you then?”

“She’s my mate. We’ve already mated and accepted each other. Our wolf laws state nothing should come between mates, therefore alpha Joel cannot keep us apart. Even his royalty doesn’t help his case.”

Not even I knew that. I was ready to declare myself a rouge. Werewolf laws weren’t something I was ever really taught. Heck I didn’t even think I had a werewolf mate so I never bothered learning the formalities.

“We can discuss this further later, for now let’s go home. You guys can ride with me, I’ll have DJ follow me in your jeep Gia.”

We walk out into the parking garage and Nathan leads us over to white bronco. I climb in the passenger seat and Val in the back. Nathan gets behind the drivers seat and places his right hand on my thigh.

I blush, I enjoy the closeness of him. I’ve never been clingy, I’ve never had the chance to be clingy, but I can feel myself growing clingy to him.

We head down the highway and I’m lost in thought nerves setting in. What is they don’t like me? What if I make a terrible Luna? I know absolutely nothing, not even wolf laws.

Nathan squeezes my thigh as if he felt my nerves getting the best of me.

“We are here” Nathan says pulling my thoughts.

We enter in a gate similar to Willow Moon, behind the gate is completely different though. There’s kids playing outside in front of little cottages. There’s tons of them. Neighborhoods of cottages, some are bigger than others but they are all equally beautiful.

There’s a little town center. A school, a hospital, a few stores. It’s like a city inside a city. It feels so homey and welcoming.

Everyone talking and hanging out. You would never see that at Willow Moon, only snotty grumpy people.

Behind the town center is a mansion. It’s huge!

It’s white painted brick, four stories. The shudders are grey and there ivory vines growing over parts of the house. It’s like a house out of Greece. Stunningly beautiful.

“Wow, Nathan. Is this your house?”

“It’s OUR pack house, yes.”

Val is completely silent, taking it all in.

My jeep pulls up behind us and I get out of Nathan’s car. As soon as I get out there’s a small crowd of people waiting.

Nathan comes over to my side and addresses the crowd “I know you are all excited to meet your new Luna, however she is brand new here. I would like to show her around for a while and we will meet you in the dinning hall tonight.”

Everyone is gone except for an older woman, maybe in her late 50s early 60s. She’s got long brown hair, in soft waves. Beautiful blue eyes and she about 5’8. She’s gorgeous. Why is everyone here gorgeous?

“Mom I told you I would get you after I show Georgia around.”

“Oh I know but I couldn’t help myself.” She lunches herself at me hugging me tightly. She has a peaceful aura. I feel comfortable with her already. She pulls away from me.

“Hello dear, I’m Maria, Nathan’s mom.”

“Hello, I’m Georgia.”

“Okay mom lets us be. I want to show Georgia around.”

“Of course, I’ll see you both at dinner.”

Val walks up to us.

“Your mom seems lovely, I’m going to give you guys some time and check out those stores back there. I’ll be back soon.” She give me a hug and walks off.

“I’ll have Blake and Eli bring your stuff to our room. Now for the tour.”

“Who is Eli?” I ask while walking to the door.

“He’s my Beta. He live in here as well as Blake but we will get to that.”

The next two hours Nathan shows me the entire pack house.

The first floor consists of a common area, like a living room. Full of video games, board games, a massive Tv, a few small tables off to the side and two large sectional couches around the tv. The dining hall is massive and off to left. Nathan says the serve dinner in there every night but not everyone comes to eat, it’s mostly for ranked members and their families however it is used for special occasions as well. The kitchen is off the right and it just as big as the dining hall. There’s a large conference room tucked away also.

The second story is used for guest rooms, which Nathan’s parent use one, and sister uses the other when she’s in town, however there are three more. Also on the second floor is offices and a fitness room.

The third floor is for the beta, Eli and his mate, who he hasn’t found yet. And it’s also used for the gamma, Blake and his mate Malia, who works in the kitchen.

The fourth floor is entirely Nathan’s. His office is beautiful and massive. Apparently I have an office next to his that I get to decorate myself. There’s a living room type area similar to the common room but this one is more personal. We enter into the bedroom last. It’s huge.

A massive four poster bed in the middle, a small love seat by the window. End tables on both sides of the bed. An entertainment stand opposite of the bed, there’s a tv hidden behind the doors.

Two massive walk in closets which all of my belongings are neatly put away and the most gorgeous master bathroom, with a beautiful walk in shower and a jet bath tub.

“Nathan it’s so beautiful here.”

“You get to enjoy it everyday now.”

I sit on the bed tired from the days events. I kick off my shoes and crawl to the middle of the bed. Nathan climbs in behind me, cradling my back to his chest. I feel myself starting to relax and a thought disturbs me.

“Nathan?”

“Yes Princess.”

“Have you ever had any other girl in here.” Stella growls in my head

“No, only you.” I know he’s been with other women. He’s too good at what he does.

That’s a conversation for another time.

For now I’m just going to enjoy being in his arms, in our bed, in our house.
