Buster

Last night hadn't went quite to plan, he finally found her and she was perfect. However she wasn't as sure as he was.

Busters heart had almost exploded when she recognised him as her mate then nearly shattered when she spoke of her plans.

He was now lying on the top of his temporary bed worrying about her. She seemed so strong and as she talked about her plans she was so passionate but the second anyone asked for her help she jumped.

His door knocked

'Come in' It would only be his sister or niece. Confirming his thoughts in walked Letty, unexpectedly though Johnny followed.

Busters sat up 'Luna, Alpha, to what do I owe the pleasure?' he smiles as bright as he can manage until his niece tackles him to the bed.

'Stop that uncle Buster, you don't call me anything but Letz' she says with a smile.

'same here' says Johnny then frowns 'I mean not alpha, Johnny is fine' he babbles, the kid is always nervous around him.

Buster let out a small chuckle as he watched him Fidget.

'Anyway, we came to talk to you about Lea' Letz said getting herself comfortable on the bottom of the bed.

'Oh no, this isn't the birds and bees is it because I think that would just be embarrassing all round' he says in mock horror.

'Buster please, I think you need to know this' Lettys eyes were pleading with him.

'Okay what is it then' Buster gave in, its strange having a serious discussion with your 18 year old niece. To Busters surprise it was Johnny who started talking,

'Mums whole life has been about the pack, she was contracted to my father purely for the Beta blood she carries. To make strong and worthy heirs for Cloaked moon,' Johnny looked around and grabbed the simple arm chair from the window getting comfortable 'Once me and Rosie came along her main job was done, since then she has run this pack like a machine. I actually didn't realise how little my father did until Letty started Luna training with my mum last year,' he looked me in the eye to make sure I understood. After I nodded he continued,' While mum kept busy every waking moment to make this pack flourish, my father was having affairs with every unmated omega he could get his slimey hands on. She allowed it to happen, I think just to keep the peace until I took over.' A growl escaped Busters chest and Letty held his hand.

' My father was always indifferent to my mums presence, wasn't even bothered about me or Rosie until I got my wolf at 12. Until last year, my mum realised how close it was til her sham mating could be over and started preparing. She has a little cottage build amongst the woods near the river and she started booking to go away after the ceremony. It gave her a new glow, a happiness we hadn't seen in a long time and father noticed.'

Buster was really hating this Alpha the more he heard, clenching his fists he remained quiet.

' He started screwing with her plans, tried to stop the cottage being build, cancelled flights and hotels so she couldn't leave. It never worked though because all mum wants is freedom and adventure' Johnny looked at Buster now with pleading eyes,

'I adore my mum Buster, and I am happy she could finally get to feel the love I have but....' Johnny was getting nervous again, 'Please don't take away her well earned freedom'

That took the air right out of Busters lungs, 'I would never do that Johnny, your mum is all my dreams come true so I would never ruin her dreams. I am just not sure how I fit in with her plans'

Letty gives him a big smile, 'Don't worry uncle Buster you rock. I'm sure yous will work something out,' her eyes blanked, she was mind linking.

'Time to start doing my job, disasters in the clinic orders supposedly' she suddenly said nervously and ran out the door making Buster laugh.

'She really is a natural, even if she doesn't see it yet' mumbled Johnny as he left the room smiling.

Busters spent the rest of the afternoon wondering if there was a way Lea could have her freedom and not reject him. Being a Beta demanded Alot of his time, he couldn't ask her to give up her whole trip just for him.

Lea

Lea spent the morning checking and rechecking her travel arrangements. She still had half her brain telling her not to go, Buster deserved a chance but this trip was her retirement gift to herself she had never left Britain and this was her chance.

In the afternoon she got a surprise visit from her daughter,

'So when you moving in with the big man?' Rosie asked as she plonked herself on Leas bed wearing only basketball shorts and a sports bra.

'I don't know if I will Rosie, he is gorgeous but I really need my trip. I'd rather not talk about it, it's only going to confuse me more' Lea said sitting beside her muscle covered daughter.

'Perfect, because I need to tell you something anyway' Rosie inhaled a protein bar and sat looking at her mum,

'Before you leave, no matter where you go, I need you to know...' Rosie looked so nervous it was cute 'When I eventually find my fated mate, he will most likely be a she' Rosies eyes went massive as she waited for her mums reply.

Lea couldn't help herself she burst out laughing 'Oh Rosie, that's why you are all fidgety? I don't care, love is love.' Giving Rosie a hug 'if you are happy then I am baby girl'

Rosie suddenly bounced up laughing, she was suddenly very bright and Lea couldn't be happier for her daughter.

'Love you mum, thanks' Rosie winks as she suddenly rushes towards the door

'And if that giant makes you happy, you should be with him. If not I can take him out for you' she finishes before she disappeared slamming the door behind her.

Would Buster make her happy? It certainly seemed that way, and the way he looked at her yesterday its what every woman wants.

Lea looked at herself in the mirror, the years had been good to her but she still had the marks from carrying her children. Her little pouch of stretched skin that she just couldn't shift, her widened hips and God knows where her butt had come from but she liked the bigger look.

He was so toned and muscled, he obviously spent a lot of time in the gym and that wasn't her life.

Yet the look he gave her still made her feel wanted and sexy. Throwing herself on the bed like a teenager she was now more confused than ever.

'So when are you rejecting the big headed Beta?' Damiens voice was like gravel to her ears.
