Kenneth wanted to say 'I can do that' but she had always refused his offer to see her safely home. Once more he didn't want to risk public rebuttal.

The Armata weekend over Kenneth decided he would take up the offer of coffee with Demi and Alexandros. He had learned that Demi was an art and drama teacher at the local public schools. Kenneth was confused until Kyria explained. Public in Greece meant State, not private! Alexandros was a world-renown art restorer, working mainly for the church. He also gave private art lessons.
Kenneth chose to go in the early evening. An art lesson was in progress and Demi was nowhere to be seen.
