DiscoveriesThe meal finished, Fero stated that they should move off again. The others stood reluctantly. Thadora said that she thought she could walk, at least for some time and so she helped put their packs back on the horse's back and they set off.
They plodded on for the best part of an hour when the narrow valley they had been following ended. The path began to climb again, but not as high as previously and so Thadora did not have a return of her altitude sickness.
Then path suddenly stopped. Basalt frowned and looked around. Fero shook his head and the two young woman visibly sagged at this apparent sign they had come the wrong way. Then Grimmaldo remembered something.
