FoundThe days passed. Asphodel, being a healer, found herself in great demand. Deacon Jheg worshipped Roth, the god of dwarves, mining and metalworkers and his healing powers were limited. He could heal simple things, but not anything complex. The Walchin kept on calling for Asphodel to do things they would not dream of asking Jheg.
Basalt spent his work hours in the mines, helping dig out the silver from the new seam the Walchin had found. The tools they used seemed primitive to Basalt. He made suggestions for improving them, and taught them new ways of shoring up the mine ceilings.
