Eventually he decided he knew what the god meant. It would mean he needed to call a Council meeting, but before that he had to decide exactly how to put things to them. He rose and, after checking everything twice, he decided to leave for home as all seemed well in the temple.

Jheg woke. What an amazing dream he had last night. As he ate his breakfast, he said to Rhan, 'Last night I dreamed Roth came to the temple and used his forge.'
Rhan looked suitably impressed. 'That would be a wonderful thing,' she said, serving him a plate of mushrooms. 'A pity it was only a dream.'
Jheg tucked into his mushrooms, and nodded his head, unable to speak with his mouth full of the delicious fungi. Rhan certainly knew how to cook them to bring out their best flavour.
