Everything felt as if it were in slow motion. The blast, the burn, and the after effects. My body was in the air as the hot air propelled Zanthus and I forward, in opposite directions. He went one way and I went another; like two rag dolls, we lost control of our bodies. The cabin exploded into a million pieces; wood splintering everywhere and fire encasing the air behind me.
