The following morning, I slept in extra late, and felt even more exhausted. And I had slept a good few hours; yet it didn't seem like enough. My eyes felt heavy, and my body pulled tight. I felt as if I had run a couple miles, strained myself, and was feeling the effects when I woke up. I felt as if I hadn't slept at all. I tried to fall back asleep, but yet I couldn't. My eyes were sore and started to sting, and my mind wanted to rest, but I stayed stubbornly awake. I groaned, thinking it would be best if I tried to shower. Showers always woke me up, I figured I'd be more alert. Not even my shower could wake me up, though - if anything it made me more tired than before, which I had thought to be nonviable, but I was proved wrong.
