Zanthus stirred in his sleep. He rolled over, until he abruptly sat up. I noticed I was in a different position than I was in earlier - curled up into a ball against the arm of the chair. We both sure were comfy... Zanthus stood up, and that's when I opened my eyes. His own eyes were wide and alert; as if there were an intruder nearby. I chuckled as I sat up, running a hand through my matted hair. "Why do you look so startled?" I questioned, voice fatigued. "I didn't finish the f*****g paperwork!" He cussed, glaring at me. "If I wouldn't of slept, this would've been f*****g done already!" He ran a hand down his still tired face. He looked so stressed...as if he hadn't napped at all.
