WHEN TWO DIFFERENT WORLD'S COLLIDES

CHAPTER 2: ANXIETY

This is the fifth time I have rummaged through my wardrobe in an attempt to find something suitable to wear.

"Aaaaar......."falls on the bed in frustration.

"for crying out loud ,who in their right state of mind sends a 17yr old to greet a centuries old werewolf king" I know I'm a vampire Prince and all but this is definitely beyond me. If I wasn't sure of my family's love fir me,I would have taken this as an approach to permanently eliminate me from existence. Those werewolves are nothing but Savage beast and their King is no joke either. why today of all day,just yesterday I was thinking of all the fun things I was going to do with my mate when I finally find him or her in three days time.I pulled my hair in frustration. who would have thought that I wouldn't live to see that day.

A knock came on my door,I tilted my head to see who it was as the door opened. In came Rose,pushing in a food trolley. I immediately sat up from the bed as my eye balls grew wide from all the desserts laying on the trolley. Rose smiled seeing my expression. As always she knows how to get my day started.

"young master,I see you were in the middle of something "she looks around my now heavily trashed room and gave me one of her famous motherly stare. Rose has always been strict when it comes to keeping my room clean. Rose has been here with me since I was born and she is like a mother to me. I know she can never replace my mother but she's the closest thing I have to a mother. And yes,if you haven't already figured it out, she's my nanny. Don't ask me why I still need a nanny cus clearly I don't. But I guess that is a way for Dad and my two overly protective brothers to feel relieved over me. It's not like I personally need Rose,I can obviously take care of myself, at least that's how it should be but I guess the state of my room right now says order wise.

"sorry Rose, I lost track of time while searching for the perfect outfit to wear to welcome the Alpha King. I must have not been paying attention to my surroundings "I laughed a bit embarrassed with my head down. I could see Rose with her hands on her waist as I felt her getting ready to give me another lecture in a row this week. I flinched my eye shut as I embrace myself. After what felt like an hour or two,I heard Rose chuckle as the bed side deeps in indicating that she was now sitting beside me. She wraps her hands around me while pulling me towards her in a warm embrace

"young master,you don't have to worry yourself over how you should look . Appearance isn't all that matters,it's the intention behind it that counts". She begins to brush my hair,wait when did she collect the brush. you know what never mind, Rose will always be Rose,she never ceases to amaze me.

"just take today as your regular normal day and just be yourself. I'm sure that no matter how fierce the Alpha king might be ,he wouldn't dare hurt you in your own kingdom"she pulls back ,enough to give me a peck ,while she stands to tidy the room .

"and young master please,next time you need a cloth to wear just ring the bell . I already brought out your clothes for the day,it's behind yourself says as she folds the clothes she picked off the the window cushion.Her tone immediately goes back to thar of a mother scolding her toddler. I turned around, now being aware of the neatly ironed clothes laying on my bedside untouched. How the heck did I not notice that Theresa's a cloth on the bed all this while. oh no,I guess Kyle was right, I really still can't take care of myself yet.Bu it would be over my dead body before i will ever admit that to him. Good thing he isn't here right now. Turning around awkwardly to face Rose ,I gave her my best puppy eye.

"I know I probably might have said this a lot but you're an angel ". I gave her a quick peck on the chicks as I grabbed the cloths and bolted towards the restroom . I could hear Rose laughter behind me as she goes back to work . Entering the bathroom, I shut the door behind me . Staring at my reflection on the mirror,I smiled as a feeling of calmness washed over me. I don't know what that was but I'm grateful for it. Maybe it's the goddess way of telling me to calm down and not be afraid. Turning on the shower,I stretched my head to make sure it wasn't too cold. Now standing under the running water ,I could feel all my anxiety washing off with every drop of water. I'm determined to not get killed today.

It's been an hour and 30mins ,Leo already stopped by my room to remind me that the Alpha King and his beta and few other members are already in our territory. they should be here any moment from now. I rushed through my drawers in search of my mascara cus there's no way I'm going out there looking like a ghost. checking out my outfit for the 100th time. I wore the tank top Rose brought out for me and a high waist trousers that leaves my stomach exposed,wearing a black canvas to compliment the whole look. In my opinion, I look more like I'm hosting a party than welcoming a King.

"are you still not ready yet"Leo says walking in but froze on the spot. why is he looking at me like that,do I have something on my face. I quickly turned back to the mirror to check my face.

"pum pum,while the he'll are you dressed like that?"he walks towards me while checking me out.

"why? do you think I look ugly in it" saying that is now making me self conscious. Leo pulled me In for a hug as i was already having multiple thoughts in my head.what if the Alpha King finds me too ugly to even loon at.

"I'm sorry that's not what I meant ,you look so gorgeous that I just want to lock you up in here and and let you out ever again " he pulls away as he cups my chicks .

"oh come on ,you know that will only make me sad " I smiled at him only to instantly go silent. I immediately felt the urge to run downstairs, before I could understand what was going on. I bolted through the door ,Leo right behind me screaming my name. I think he was trying to tell me something but I couldn't hear him. I lost my footing on the stairs, with my eyes shut,I guess this is that for me. I was waiting for the fall but it never came. I opened my eyes,staring into an unfamiliar chest. I looked up only to be met with most beautiful set of blue eyes I have never seen in my life.
