The guards all looked up as I ran towards them. "Prince Nicholas?" One of them addressed me as I stopped to catch my breath. He looked at Aspen in my arms. "Who is that?"
"I need your vehicle," I spoke out to him. There was always a pack SUV at the gate for patrols.
The guard nodded and ran into the guardhouse. He returned seconds later with the keys.
