It was now after bedtime, and I was lying in my bed thinking of my plan. I had told Jeremy I was leaving early in the morning to go back to Zephyr Moon to retrieve Calliope. The only thing I didn't tell him was I was not coming back here unless it was with my father's army. I hoped I could find my way back to the pack. I had no idea where exactly I was, and the demon wouldn't allow Jeremy to tell me. So I had to rely on instinct. I was going to have to run in wolf form to get home. Lasher whimpered as he again tried to contact Calliope to no avail. 'It will be alright, buddy,' I said to him. 'She and our pup are alright.'
