There was now a large scar under the creatures chin, signifying that this monster did in fact crash beneath them, despite them thinking it really did manage to evade falling somehow, the scar dripped blood slowly and aside from that one there was another on its shoulder that soaked the white fur making for something of a nasty scene as its muscles rippled beneath it all on its way up, within one breath the creature was already halfway up the tree to them who weren't at the very top, they barely had any time at all, but in this situation Parker's mind seemed to press for an answer faster than ever before as he reached up for his chute and used the worn down knife to slice through the now shorter but still somehow tense and entangled cords, true to his intentions the parachute shook and open
