I feel great going into my next class. After how well calculus went this morning, I feel like nothing can bring me down again. Then I get to history class. I don’t recognize any of my classmates here, and apparently most of the curriculum is based on local history and events. I recognize some names, like the presidents, and Sherman, but that’s about it. I don’t even remember why most of them are important. I feel myself sinking farther and farther into my chair as the class goes on. English ends up being even worse. Mr. Arthers wants to build off of whatever Mrs. Spencer did last year, and I haven’t read any of those books.
