This morning, I spent an hour agonizing over what to wear to the first day of school. Which was only after I'd spent three hours on it last night. I've had a dozen "first day of school" experiences, but they rarely coincided with everyone else's first day. Do students dress nice here? Are they super casual because they've already known each other forever? It is literally impossible to say and guessing is agony.
Gracie had made fun of me a ton last night while I cycled through possible outfits. Do I wear a sun dress? Is everyone else going to be in running shorts and old t shirts? Should I wear mom's prom t shirt to get vintage cred? Or will that make me look lazy and poor?
