The Start
It was a rainy morning, Cherish woke up by 4:30am feeling lazy because of the weather. She turned the lights on, precisely the lamp by her bedside then reached out for her phone and airpods.
If there's one thing you can't take away from Cherish, it's her love for music.
She started her day by wearing her airpods and filling her ears with "Grass Ain't Greener by Chris Brown".
After a while, she sat up on her bed thinking about how the new term was going to be for her. She just got promoted at school. This is her first year as a Senior in Grace High School.
She sat there soliloquizing about what she went through in Junior School, the ups and downs alongside the happy and sad moments. She wanted to be better and do better as a senior.
She reminisced about her holiday moments. The fun, the asphyxiation she felt because of her parents constant fights.
For a moment, she felt absolutely unfortunate to be born into such a home. She sighed and tried to shake off the melancholy.
There was no point dwelling on such thoughts on a Monday morning. It would only dampen her spirit.
She missed her friends dearly and couldn't wait to meet them.
A resplendent smile broke out on her face when she remembered the highlight of her holiday.
She finally became friends with the school's hottest and richest kid. The bad boy named Chris.
He had girls choking on their drools whenever his name was mentioned. Tall, Dark, Broad chested, Muscular, Pink lips and a panty wetting smile... Oh My God!
They became acquainted with each other through f*******:. Cherish had always wanted to be friends with Chris but he acted like he wasn't even aware of her existence at school.
He was good friends with her school father K.J, who just graduated the other month. He wanted them to be friends so that she could have somebody to look out for her within the school since he was no longer around to do that.
.
She was finally friends with him. Her best friend Gladys talked so much about him to the point that Cherish felt she needed to see a doctor.
She was excited about going to school today mainly because she couldn't wait to meet him.
They had never had a face-to-face conversation but she already liked his personality merely by their chats. The conversations were so good and he seemed like an easy going person.
She knew there was going to be a lot of things that were gonna pop up because of the newfound friendship but she was hopeful.
Keeping her fingers crossed!
