Once Lost, but Now Found

Chapter Thirteen

SOPHIA'S POV

Drake said the ride back to his territory would take about seven hours, so I'm currently sitting silently staring out the window. I don't know if I can do this. I'm only eighteen and I don't know the first thing about being a Luna. "Mon amour is everything okay?" I hear Drake speak. What exactly am I supose to say to him, so I just sit there still staring out the window. "Baby," "I have agreed to give you a chance, so I ask that you give me some time in return." " Okay mon amour, but I just want you to know that I'm always here when your ready." His voice sounds so sad and full of heartbreak. Pull it together Sophia, you are an alphas daughter and you got this. The SUV comes to a halt in front of two large iron gates. "Welcome home Alpha, Beta." "Open the gates!" I hear the man shout. The scenery before me was so beautiful. All the houses and buildings were built like out of wood. It was a beautiful town hidden in the heart of the smokey mountains. As we are passing by, I notice a welcome sign that reads WELCOME TO PINEVILLE. We continue one for another hour until finally I see this huge palace come into view. "YOU LIVE IN A FREAKING PALACE!" "Yes WE live in a palace, and everything your eyes can see and so much more belongs to us, me and you. This is all yours "How many rooms is in the pakace?" I ask to no one in particular. Lamar finally speaks up. "There are about eighty rooms in total. The Alpha and Luna get the sixth floor, I have the fifth floor. Our gamma Jake and his mate Miley whom you will be meeting in a few minutes gets the fourth floor. Our parents and siblings get the third floor. The high ranking guards and omegas get the second floor, and finally the first floor is nothing but meeting rooms, the recreation room, the ball room, the library and, and last but not least the kitchen." All I could do was just stair in amazement. "How many pack members do we have?", I ask. "We have over twelve hundred members." "Twelve hundred!!" "How am I going to be Luna to this many people, there's no way I can run this pack alone." "Mon amour you want be doing it alone, you will be helping me run in. "We will be runing it together." All I could do was just nod in agreement. We finally come to a stop in front of the palace, and another handsome man comes walking out towards us. "Hey Jake, glad to see our home is still in one piece," Lamar greets him. "Where is Miley?" "She went to go find your parents, they should be here any minute." Just then I see a girl who looks to be not much older than me walk out with an older couple. "Hello son, " the couple greets Drake at the same time. "We are so glad your finally home," Drake's mother says while embracing him. "It's good to be back." "Mom, Dad, Jake, Miley I have someone I'd like you all to meet." He . "turns to me taking me by the hand, " Is this your mate?", his father asks. "Yes, I found her at full moon while we were there. They greet me with a hello and a warm smile. "Well, would you like to tell them your name mon amour?" " I am Sophia Jackson, it is a pleasure to meet you all." " Jackson your Berry and Sara's daughter!" "Your father and I were good friends, and when we heard what happened we thought that there were no survivors." "My name is Zack and this is my mate Emily." Zack, why does that name sound so familiar? Emily pulls me into a hug and starts sobbing . " I am so glad you are here with us dear, your mother was one of my best friends and I know she would want you here with us." "Thank you Emily, that means a lot to me for you to say that." "Son you said she was at full moon, what was she doing there?" " Soeaking of that, father I need to speak with you in private about that. To many prying eyes and ears out here." "Miley would you please take Sophia and show here around the palace." "Syre thing Alpha." Miley grads me by the arm and starts pulling me toward the palace entrance. This should be fun.... I hope.

DRAKE'S POV

As soon as we make it to the office we shut the door and lock it. "Son please tell me what is going on." My Dad says. "During the attack uncle Berry and aunt Sara hid Sophia away. Dash found her when they were searching what remained of the packhouse. They thought that she was a surviving omega pup so they brotjy back to their pack, but not to raise her. They turned her into their slave. They made her sleep in a shoe closet on a cot and bathe in the pound outside. The starved her, and beat her everyday. She wasn't even allowed to be treated by their pack doctor." My mother was balling her eyes out and my dads eyes were black as night, he was fighting his wolf. "Don't they have an elder in that pack?" Father asks "They do, but he turned a blind eye to everything." " I need to call a meeting with the elders they need to know what has happened." "Alpha zyan of Red Moon is already handling that. I'm just glad I came along when I did because she would probably be dead of I wouldn't have. "Does she know that you were always ment to be her true mate?" "No, I don't think she remembers us. I haven't been able to tell her, and I'm not sure if she will believe me." " Honey the photo album!" My mom cried. My dad leaves and comes back with this large picture album. "Show her these son, she may be able to remember if she is shown something familiar to her." "Wait... this Sophia is the same sophia you were bragging about being your mate when you was eighteen, but had to wait on her to come into age." Lamar says. " Yes one in the same." "Well you did find her when she came into age, it may have not been good conditions, but you found her and that's all that matters." I hope when I show Sophia these pictures she will remember and accept me.

SOPHIA'S POV

We haven't even finished touring the first floor, and I'm already so tired. We turned the corner and went through two large dubble doors that led into this humongous kitchen. "This is where all the magic happens." Miley says. This kitchen makes up the whole first floor of the Full Moon packhouse. I can see ten refrigerators, eight stove tops and ovens, and even 6 sinks. "This is the place to come get anything your craving. and if there is something you want but we don't have then let the kitchen omegas know, they will go get it for you. We have six pantries." "Did you just say six pantries!" "Yes, two are filled with anything you could want as far as drinks, two are for any kind of snack you could ever want, and the last two are for dry goods, ingredients and canned stuff. Just then two people walk into the kitchen."Hello Gamma Miley, and who might this young lady be?" "This is our future Luna Sophia. Sophia this is Mr and Mrs Jinkens" "Hello it is a pleasure to meet you both," I say. "The pleasure is all ours Luna," they bow. "Dinner will be ready in a few hours, but would you like us to make you both a snack?" Mikey and I both nod and take a seat at the bar. Soon Mrs jinkens comes out with two plates of crackers and cheese and two glasses of iced tea. Before I realize it I'm taking the last cracker with cheese in my mouth. "Dang girl, you ate that pretty quick." " Yeah, I guess I was hungrier than I realized." Soon the sent of fresh summer rain hits me, and I know that Drake is close by. Just then the doors open up and in walks Drake, his parents, Lamar, and Jake. Drake walks over to meet and places a kiss on the top of my head. "Mon amour did you have fun on the tour?" " I did, it's just that this place is so huge that I'm probably going to be getting lost everyday." " That is why until you get use to being here you will not be wondering around on your own. Miley will be with you everyday." "That's right, it's going to be just you and me, we will have a blast!" Miley says excitedly. I get up to go wash my plate, but am stopped by Mrs kinked, "Luna you go on I've got this." I nod my head an walk back to my seat. "Sophia I need to talk to you, Let's go out to the gardens." Drake says. I nod and follow him out the kitchen and through the back door. We are walking through the garden until we see a bench. We sit on the bench and face each other. "Sophia the night I found you at full moon is not the first time we have met. We were always ment to be together. You were always mine and I was always yours. I know that you may not remember, so maybe this will help." He pulls out a photo album from the bag he was carrying and hands it to me. I open it and am immediately in tears. It's pictures of my parents and me with Drake and his father, there are even some of his mother and mine. "My prince." "What did you say?" "Your my prince, I remember thinking how handsome you was and calling you my prince." "Yes, you called me that the whole week we were there. I told you that once you were older that I would be your prince in shining armor, and that you could keep me forever. When we found out about the attack on your pack it was to late. I thought you was gone, and I always wondered why the Moon Goddess never gave me a second chance mate. Now I know why, you weren't dead. I don't know what the Moon Goddess plans are, but she brought you home to me." "Drahe, I am older now, will you be my prince in shining armor forever?" "Yes mon amour, always and forever!"
