Chapter Twelve

SOPHIA'S POV

I open my eyes and see the rays of sunlight shining in through the window. That was the best sleep I have ever gotten I think to myself. I try to sit up, but I'm trapped by something holding me down. I look over and see that Drake has his arm around me holding me tightly to him. He's still sound asleep. I take this time to look him over completely. Prefect black hair and a very sexy body. This man is a f*****g Greek God. It takes everything in me not to plant a kiss on those perfect lips. Suddenly I get the urge to have to use the restroom. I try to get free of his hold but am pulled tighter against him. "Drake," I say softly. Nothing. "Drake," I say a little louder this time. Still nothing. I try to push him away, but he just pulls me closer. I push him a little harder this time. "Mon amour why do you keep pushing me away, I'm trying to sleep?" "I need to use the restroom. He sighs but finally let's me go. I quickly get to the restaurant an do my business. I wash my face and brush my teeth. I decide to take a quick shower. Once I'm clean I step out the shower. I realize I forgot my clothes, and I really don't want to put on dirty clothes. I pick through the door. "Drake," I call. "Yes mon amour, is everything?" "Could you please hand me some clean clothes?" "Sure thing." He hands me my clothes and I quickly get dressed and wrap my hair in a towel. I step out the bathroom an see Drake laying on the bed playing on his phone. He finally looks up at me and our eyes lock. I could get lost in those beautiful blue eyes of his. "Would you like to go get some breakfast?" He asks. "I could just cook us something here." "Not in a burnt oven you can't." "What do you mean, what happened?" "Them idiots set the oven on fire last night doing Goddess knows what." "WHAT!" "This place really is in shambles without me." Jusr then there is a loud knock at the door. Drake walks over to answer it. "What's up Lamar?" "I came to get you for the meeting, while they understand the circumstances of why the meeting was on hold, they say it is time to get it over with. Drake turns to me, "mon amour breakfast is going to have to wait I need to get to this meeting." "That's okay, I'm still kinda full from everything we ate last night." "Stay in this room and keep the door locked, I don't trust anyone in this house. Once I'm finished we can get packed am head home." Okay, I say my good buys an watch as the men head down the hall. Once I can't see them I shut the door and lock it.

DRAKE'S POV

Lamar and I finally entered the meeting hall. "Nice to see your finally here with us," Alpha Zyan of the Red Moon Pack says. "Where is your mate," he asks. She is still resting. "Shall we get this meeting started," Aloha Aloha Parker asks. Lamar and I take are seats, and the meeting finally begins. Finally after two hours five out of the twelve packs have decided to become rivals of the Full Moon Pack. "Aloha Drake what say you?" Elder Noha asks. "Nah," I say. Everyone in the room falls silent. I refuse to be allies with a pack that kills innocent people. Sophia is the long lost daughter of Aloha Berry Jackson. They all gasp I shock. "Do you mean the late Berry Jackson Alpha to Cresent Moon Pack?" Zyan asks. "Yes." "Is this true Dash?" Zyan asks him. "I have no idea what he's talking about. Sophia was born here and her family was killed in a car crash." "Bull s**t Dash, you know good an damn well your lying. Why don't you tell everyone how you treated Sophia. You all beat her everyday. Forced her to live in a shoe closet and bathe in a fuxking lake. You all starved her as well." You could see the anger on Dash's face, he was fighting his wolf for control."Ekder Noah i would like to retract my vote, I would like to become rivals as well," Alpha Drew says. Soon only four packs remain allies with the Full Moon Pack. The rest of us are know rivals, and could challenge Mason at any time for is Aloha title. "Elder Noah i suggest you think about giving up your Elder title." Zyam says.

"I beg your Parden?" "Once i get home I am calling a meeting of the elders to look into this and to you, you turned a blind eye to all this and let an innocent child be abused.""If that is all, then I will take my leave." Come on Lamar let's get packed and head home. We have been here long enough. I Hurry to my room and unlock the door with my key. I see Sophia sitting there on the bed. "Mon amour let's get packed." She gets up and starts packing our things. I have her put her things in my bag. Once packed, we head out the door and meet Lamar at the top of the stairs. We get down the stairs and our the door. We finally make it to the SUV. We pile in and begin the journey home. I am finally able to get Sophia home. Sophia doesn't remember me, but yesterday wasn't the first time we met

"Dad why do I have to come with you to Cresent Moon Pack?" "Because you are eighteen now, and you will soon be taking over as Alpha. I need you to establish a good business relationship with Berry. Plus he's always been like an uncle to you over the years " " Yeah but,"... before I could finish we pull up to the Cresent Moon Pack. Once we step out the car we are greeted by Alpha Berry. "That is my son Drake," Dad says. "He's so handsome, like a prince, my prince!!" She squealed. I pinched her cheek, "And you are as pretty as a princess." "Sophia!!" I hear aunt Sarah call. "Leave Zack and Drake alone, and come help me finish preparing dinner." "Okay mommy," sophia jumps out my dads arms and runs into the kitchen. "Dad I think something is wrong." "What do you mean son?" "I know this may sound weird, but I think I'm attracted to Sophia, I believe that I am in love with her." "Berry and I were hoping this would happen." "What do you mean?" "Drake turn on the TV Hurry!" My Dad came runing in. I switched on the TV. The rumors are true. Alpha Dash Grayson of the Full Moon Pack challenged Alpha Berry Jackson of the Cresent Moon Pack an Won. There are no survivors. I dropped to floor and cried. My mate and her family were gone.
