Rachen and Manow worked until midnight because it was the end of the month, so they had to check the employees' working days in detail. When Manow finished checking the last document, she handed it to Rachen for a final review.
"Boss, can I take the whole week off next week? You can dock my pay if needed."
While Rachen was reviewing the document she gave him, Manow expressed her request. Upon hearing that she wanted to take several days off, Rachen immediately looked up at her.
"Why are you taking so many days off?"
"I'm going to do volunteer work in Malibu. Every year, my department has to go out for volunteer work. Can I take the leave?"
Manow explained her reason for the leave to Rachen.
"Hmm, how are you getting there? Flying?"
Rachen asked while still looking at the document.
