There were no other incidents on the construction site after I changed the security (I did that every time there was an attempted break-in, just in case). After a small blimp caused by the investigation, construction resumed.
We were within schedule and within budget (plus the traditional 50%; of course, given the uncertainties, that was considered 'within budget').
"My uncle is thrilled with how fast this is going," Joe said, after another long-distance call (for which I'm definitely billing the company). "He said he's never seen a project this fast."
That was all jolly and good.
We were looking at starting production by September, just a year after we started the project (a breakneck pace, by the standards of the industry).
