11 Mr. Braham, for all his relaxed appearance, was much more organized than the police sergeant. He had coordinated with the estate agent and made appointments to visit all the houses that were on sale in the area surrounding Little Eaton. "Sorry for the early hour," he said, when he sat at our breakfast table, while we were finishing up our tea. "But we start things early in Little Eaton. The heat, you understand.
