Four: Residence.

As she speeds a bit further, Violet dials her old best friend from school that is now the beta in another pack

"Hey Kian, I need some help right now"

"Oh my god, Vi are you okay?" A concerned voice asked

"I think so, I just need a place to stay, for as long as possible" the girl said, embarrassed

"What’s wrong?" He asked

"Ky, don’t freak out but I just found out I’m pregnant and that my mate cheated on me" Violet said quickly

"I will definitely ask Alpha Ace if you can become a new official member. You’re still a fighter right? Also I will murder him." He added the last part quietly

"Yes I’m still a fighter. I can still train in human form for a couple months. I’m on my way right now, is that okay?" She said "Of course, I’ll tell the patrol you’re my guest" He finished.

As Violet continued on her way, she remembered she didn’t know anything about Kian’s Alpha, so using her voice to ask her phone questions, she searched him up.

Weirdly enough, nothing showed up about the Alpha of the Shadow Wolf pack, which was the strongest and biggest pack in the continent.

As she neared the borders of her friend’s pack, she felt the strength come in waves to designate the borders.

She then sent a quick text to Ky to let him know of her arrival. He told her to meet him at the pack house, where she could sleep in a room on his floor for the time being.

As she parked her car, her friend came running to her and began spinning her around and laughing.

When they began walking to the pack house, Violet smelled the best scent she had ever smelled in her entire life. It was even more mouthwatering that Matthew’s, and he was her mate.

Emphasis on WAS.

Her friend grabbed her two duffle bags, and they began walking to the third floor, which was the Beta’s floor.

The more they walked, the stronger the scent of Vanilla and Chocolate became to Violet.

As Kian opened a door next to his room and motioned inside, the smell seemed to dissipate, which Violet found weird.

Violet quickly put her bags down and asked Kian where his alpha was, to which he answered that Ace just left for patrol before Violet came inside.

Violet was pretty nervous to meet her potential new alpha, but she didn’t let that fact stop her from going to sleep right away.

Violet didn’t know how long ago she fell asleep, but she was awoken by the mouthwatering smell again, simply this time it seemed even stronger.

She shot up from her bed and tackled the person that was crouching next to her bed staring at her.

Her brows furrowed as she met a beautiful pair of hazel eyes.

The fact that her wolf kept screaming "MATE!! MATE!!" Didn’t help with the confusion.

As they both slowly got up, Violet had a look of surprise on her face and slowly moved away from the intruder to sit on her bed.

She then looked up to meet the same breathtaking hazel eyes and slowly asked "Who exactly are you and what are you doing in my room in the middle of the night?"

A soft voice answered "I’m Alpha Ace Jones of the Shadow Wolf Pack and, it appears you’re my mate"

Violet stuttered "But- But you can’t be my mate! I just rejected my mate and also- you’re a- a GIRL"
