His lost mate

Three: Decisions.

As she stood there with hurt in her eyes, Violet saw Eliza looking at her with confusion. “Who’s she?” She asked Matthew “She’s my mate...” he answered with embarrassment.

Violet then walked to Eliza “ How far along are you” she asked with a scowl. Eliza seemed panicked and didn’t answer, but then Violet grabbed her arm and asked louder “HOW FAR ALONG ARE YOU” whimpering, Eliza told her she was 3 and a half months pregnant.

Violet let go of Eliza’s arm and turned around to glare at her mate, who had ran to Eliza after Violet let go of her arm.

“We’re done” said Violet without any emotion whatsoever.

She quickly went up the stairs and ran to her room, stopping briefly to stare at herself in the mirror.

Her platinum blonde hair, who everyone said was white, was up in a messy bun which made the fair colour of her face stand out. Her light blue-grey eyes seemed to hold a lot of pain and her pouty lip looked chapped.

She applied chapstick and then asked her wolf “why did he cheat on me with my total polar opposite? Has he never liked me?” Eliza had brown hair and eyes. Her skin was a bit darker than Violet’s and her face had multiple moles scattered around.

Ira whined sadly and laid in a corner of Violet’s mind.

Violet then grabbed her two duffle bags and started packing important things in them; her clothes, some family pictures, her entire savings (which consisted of a few thousand dollars in cash and a few thousand more in her bank account), her phone and charger, some food from her snack drawer, her passport, her wallet that contained her drivers license her debit card and some gift cards, her perfume and deodorant, her soap and shampoo, her toothbrush, and to top it all off, her headphones.

She then hid the two bags under the bed when she heard Matthew walking to their room.

Matthew looked at her with lustful eyes, and she couldn’t seem to understand why. He then walked closer to her and started kissing her, rubbing himself against her in the process.

She decided to sleep with him. One last time before she left. Before she abandoned him.

She started kissing him back and it didn’t take long before both of their pants were on the ground and they were laying next to each other panting for breath.

She then asked him if she could sleep alone tonight, to process everything. He, of course, accepted with no hesitation. What he didn’t know is she already processed everything almost an hour ago, and that she decided to run away.

About 20 minutes after he left, she put on her sweatpants and her hoodie and grabbed her bags.

She then wrote a small note and left it on the bed. It only contained one word that was sure to make him mad. “Goodbye”.

She walked to the door quietly, making sure she didn’t wake anyone. As she reached the door, she saw some commotion at the pack hospital across the street. She decided it wasn’t any of her business if she didn’t want to get caught.

She then put on her converse and grabbed her car keys, making sure to close the door quietly.

As she tossed her bags into her car and ran inside, she heard a pained cry and a growl coming from inside the pack hospital. She thought it sounded like her mate, and quickly started the car before speeding off.

As she was driving to the borders, her mate mind-linked her asking her where she was. She decided not to answer him and speed up a little more.

She then looked down at her slightly noticeable bump and whispered “I’m sorry little mouse, but I’ll be the best mommy you could ever want”

She then heard running a few meters behind the car and looked at the side-mirror to see her mate.

He looked devastated and kept trying to get closer but the car was going too fast. Ira then piped up “Eliza is going into preterm labor, Matt’s wolf just told me. It’s because you guys had sex...”

Violet seemed shocked that she forgot her being intimate with her mate could cause problems for Eliza’s baby, but she kept speeding up until she reached the border.

Once out of pack grounds, she said loudly “I, Violet Hope, reject you, Matthew Crawford, as my mate” he clutched his chest from behind the border and saw Violet speeding off into the distance.
