Harper
The doorbell rings and my mind moves from our crazy s****l conversation. I put my phone in my pocket and get up from the couch.
When I open the door, a police officer is standing in front of me.
"Are you Harper O'Neill?"
"Yes, is there a problem?"
The police officer snaps a pair of handcuffs on my wrists.
"You are under arrest for the illegal dealing of drugs. You have the right to remain silent, but anything you say will be used against you in court."
No no no!
"No sir, you don't understand! I'm not the one you want! I don't handle the drugs! I don't touch them I don't sell them! Please sir let me go you don't understand!"
The officer shoved me in the car and I knew I was about to cry. My phone was still buzzing in my pocket, indicating Nick and Luke were still texting each other, or waiting for me to come back.
I'd give anything to talk to Nick right now considering I'm so frightened I could have a meltdown.
What's going to happen to me?

Harper
They put me in a temporary holding cell until my court date in two days. I had spent the last hour crying. Some of the other prisoners started laughing at me but that made me cry more. I didn't belong here with these people. They're criminals and I'm not. Or am I?
"Please officer, you don't understand, Nick's here has been worried sick about his boyfriend. Could you please just let him see him for a few minutes? Harper's a good guy, we promise! Just let them see each other."
My ears perked up at Nick's name.
"Nick! Nick!"
The door opened and Nick came dashing in, tears streaming down his face. My poor angel...
"Princess..." I fell on my knees and looked at him from the other side of bars. Nick gripped one of the bars with one of his hands and grabbed mine with the other.
"Harper why are you in here?" Luke asked, rushing up behind Nick.
"Remember my job? They think I'm selling the drugs. I'm not, Nick knows, I told him everything."
"Harper we'll get you out of this. The police said your dad is sending a lawyer to talk to Nick and I. And once you are out of this, we're making you quit."
"Excuse me?"
A police officer came to the door,
"The person who filed the arrest, Zeke Maleek, is outside. He wishes to speak to you two."
Zeke f*****g Isaias did this?!
"GRAAAAAH!"
Nick stood up as I screamed, his hand still squeezing my hand tightly.
"Do you mean Zeke Isaias?" Luke asked quietly.
"Yes, sorry for incorrect pronunciation."
Tears streamed down my face as Nick put his face in the bars, frowning and puckering his lips. I poked my face through and pecked his lips lightly.
"I'll be out of here as soon as possible to hug you and kiss you I promise."
Nick nodded and let go of my hand.
"Gay ass pussies..." one of the prisoners chuckled. I almost bent the bars and broke his ugly nose, but Luke did for me with his own special words.
"You listen to me asswipe," he snarled, "If they're p*****s then I bet the whole world would want to be a bunch of p*****s. Unless you want me to rip your intestines out of your asshole and burn them in the fiery pits of hell before shoving a cactus down your throat, you better shut that piece of s**t you call a mouth. If you're going to make fun of my friends the you better get ready to pay for it."
He laughed it off and waved Luke away.
"You see this hand?"
"Yeah, I see it pixie."
"I'm going to slap a b***h with it if the b***h doesn't back his dirty ass away."
The big burly prisoner backed up a bit at Luke' tone and attitude.
This is why he is my best friend.
Nick
Luke and I exited the temporary holding cell area, he fuming and I utterly shocked.
"I'm sorry," he sighed, "I usually don't go that crazy, I just hate it when people diss on my friends."
Friends.
This included me this time.
"White! How's Harper?"
Zeke stood in front of us and my stomach lurched. I grabbed Luke hand again and held on for my dear life.
"Oh, and Nick? Still working on giving me that money?"
He walked up to me and I felt the blood draining from my body as he traced his finger against my jawline.
"Back the f**k off," Luke slapped his hand away, "Nick knows Harper's real story, we're going to win and he's going to get out of prison."
Zeke's confidence faltered for a quick second before he regained his stance.
"You're not gonna win this case, fags."
Luke
Nick and I sat in a local restaraunt, waiting for Harper's lawyer to meet us. We weren't exactly sure why the police told us where to go, but we followed anyway.
Nick tapped on the table with the end of his knife, showing he was still jittery from seeing Harper and encountering Zeke.
I placed my hand on Nick's shoulder and rubbed it. He gave me a small smile and the door dinged.
We both turned around and saw a man running towards us in a white button down and grey jeans.
"Hey guys, I'm sorry I'm so late."
He sat down and finally showed us his fac--oh my god.
"I'm Leo," he grinned, "Leo Keene. I'm Harper's lawyer and you're Nick and Luke, correct?"
A waiter passed by and he raised his hand up.
"Can I get a cup of tea please?"
If all lawyers are this hot, can I have twenty-eight?
