texts: morning 09:15 AM N: Harper i'm sleepy... H: princess you're in school for a reason how can you be sleepy? N: my ass of a teacher is annoying the bloody s**t out of me. he's such an i***t really, he keeps asking me questions and i'm like, do you expect me to just miraculously start talking or are you just mad? H: Nick you deserve better treatment than that babe. N: no it's okay... H: wait in that classroom after class. i'm talking to him. i love you too much to see that kind of disrespect. N: what would i do without you literally. i love you. H: love you more. N: so... H: oh after school and all that jazz, i want to take you on our first date. N: where? H: my house. don't worry, i'll surprise you. Nick "You wanna guess what we're doing?" I shrugged and spun myself around in a circle as Harper and I walked down his street. "You don't wanna guess?" I shook my head and he kissed the palm of my hand. "Well we're watching movies. All. Night." A grin made it's way onto my face and I turned to Harper, grabbing his shoulders and kissing his lips. "I can see that you're satisfied with this decision." I nodded and his hands suddenly snuck up to my thighs. I yelped (on the inside obviously) as he wrapped my legs around his waist before pressing his soft lips to mine again. "I'm not going to be able to stop kissing you." Please never stop. -- Soon we arrived at his house and I had to take a step back and stare. Harper's family was, dare I say it, filthy rich. "Home sweet home," Harper chuckled, "I'm sorry it's not a welcoming setting, really." I gripped onto his arm as he led me inside. "Dad?" Harper sounded absolutely shocked to see his father sitting by the island counter with a cup of tea, watching the latest World Cup match. "Harper, how are you? And who's your friend?" Completely forgetting I was also here, representing a scared boy clutching onto his boyfriend's arm for dear life, I let go, making myself somewhat presentable in front of Harper's father. "This is Nick, my um, good friend." His father sent a small nod with a glare hidden behind his face. My eyes widened and I shrunk behind Harper again. "Can we just, get some popcorn I guess?" He questioned. He nodded and I followed Harper's every literal step until we were away from his father. God did that man scare me. Nick I think it was about an hour until midnight when things fell apart. We were in the middle of Spiderman 2 when Harper's cell phone started going off three times a minute. It was becoming irritating and it was on my side of the bed as well. Harper why does your phone keep going off? I wrote down in the small notebook he lent me. "Just leave it yeah? It'll stop." But it didn't stop. And it was becoming bloody annoying. When Harper got up to go to the bathroom, I picked up his phone and looked at all the text notifications. Harper why haven't you shown up? You're going to be screwed for this. Answer your f*****g phone O'Neill!! We won't hesitate not paying you for your "work"! "Nick?" Shit! "I told you not to touch my stuff!" I dropped his phone almost immediately and he snatched it from in front of me. "Are you kidding Nick?! What the bloody f**k?! When I say don't touch my stuff I mean don't touch my stuff dammit! Why didn't you just f*****g listen?!" Tears sprung in my eyes after Harper snapped at me and I confirmed one thing; I hated it when Harper was angry. His face immediately fell, as he probably realised the tears streaming down my face. "Nick I'm so sorry I--" I got out of his bed and took the blanket with me, leaving the room quickly. He's got to have a guest room in this large ass house. I'll just sleep there. He needs his space. God why am I so nosy? I traveled down a few hallways before I was on front of a door that read 'For Our Beloved Guests' beside it. I opened the door and shut it quickly, allowing myself to sob my eyes out. Jesus Christ... -- I laid in Harper's guest room bed at 3AM, sniffing every once in awhile. I didn't like sleeping alone, let alone sleeping alone in an unknown house alone. I picked myself up and walked out the door and down the hall to the bathroom. I washed my face and looked up in the mirror. My eyes were red and my cheeks were nice and puffy. If this doesn't swell down my aunt will be asking me questions. I dragged myself back to the lonely guest room to find a surprise on my bed. A folded up piece of paper.
