Nick,
I'm sorry. Please come back to bed.

Harper
I waited anxiously for Nick to read my letter. I heard his small feet patter pass my room door to go to the bathroom, so I knew he was awake.
Groaning, I turned my head from the door. I hated myself. Who did I think I was to yell at him like that?
My temper has once again ruined something good. Not even; something great.
There was a timid knock at my door.
My head shot up when I heard him and my heart shattered when I saw his face. His eyes were red and puffy, as were his cheeks. His hand gripped the sheet he had taken with him tightly.
"Nick babe..."
Nick shook his head and slowly padded over to me. He sat in my lap and I wrapped my arms around him tight, kissing the side of his head continuously.
"M'sorry for snapping at you."
He took out his small notebook.
Sorry for being nosy.
"No Ni, I lost my temper when I shouldn't have."
He lay down next to me and I wrapped my arms around his thin waist below the sheets covering our warm bodies.
There was a comfortable silence as Nick shifted around in my arms every once in awhile.
"I don't exactly have a normal job, Nick."
He turned to look up at me, a look of confusion etched on his face.
"I'm uh...a drug dealer?"
His first instinct was to back up away from me almost immediately. My god! I forgot about his parents drug problem.
"No no not that type! Nick please don't be scared, I don't handle the drugs at all. Ever."
His expression somewhat relaxed as he moved a bit closer to me.
"This is going to be a long story..."
Nick gave me a look that read 'I have time' all over it.

Nick
Harper fell asleep that night before, with me cuddled up beside him before he could even begin his story about his drug dealing job where he supposedly doesn't handle the drugs.
Unbelievable. I mean, believe it or not, I'm actually quite afraid of him. Anyone involved with drugs frightens me.
Harper entered my bedroom (like he said he would over our texts) and gave me a wave. I waved back and stayed curled up in my mass amount of sheets.
"Nick, can you let me in?"
I nodded and opened the sheets a little. He crawled beside me and held my hand underneath the thick later of duvet covers and sheets.
"I want you to know, that even though my dad has a lot of money behind him, I don't get any of that. And Nick, jobs aren't my best place."
But Harper, you're capable of so much. I write down quickly.
"Thanks, but really I can't. So my job, is to recommend the specific dealers to people in the UK. For every person I send, I get half a thousand pounds. That night at my house we spent togther? That's who was calling me."
Well damn. I wrote, I'm just worried about the whole drug thing in general.
"Hey hey," he cupped my chin in his large hands, looking me in the eyes, "I've taken drug tests and left negative. I'll take them again just to prove to you that I'm safe."
I nodded and he kissed me, moving my notebook aside.
"I think I love you," he whispered, "Even though it's only been a good two months since you sent your first letter."
My hands reach up to tangle themselves in his now longer hair as he kissed my neck.
"I wish you could say I love you back."
My heart ached as Harper and I continued to kiss. It hurt so much that I knew I couldn't say those words back.
Oops.
