MISSING GIRLS
Rouge Pack One
"Aren't you ladies some sexy little things?" A smooth, confident voice cut through the air behind them. Both women turned to face the source, finding themselves looking at an ash-blonde man, far from decent, with a million-dollar smile stretched across his face. His stance was relaxed, oozing arrogance, as if he owned the world—or at least believed he did.
"Oh, come on," Kyra muttered, already irritated.
"You know I can make you c*m, baby," the man added shamelessly, smacking her backside with a boldness that made her blood boil.
"Go to hell, perv." Kyra shot him a nuclear-powered glare, her fingers twitching as if itching to strike.
"That coming from you means a lot to me, baby," he said with an easy grin as if her anger only fueled his amusement.
Kyra groaned in disgust, rolling her eyes. "And that won't be the sound you'll be making when I'm banging that sweet ass of yours," he continued with a smirk, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
"In your dreams, pretty boy." Kyra matched his smirk with one of her own, but her patience was wearing thin.
"You won't think me pretty when I'm making a meal of your p***y, or when I have my c**k buried deep inside you. And you definitely won't think me a boy when I'm ramming into you and making you scream my name over and over..."
"Shut up!!!" Kyra yelled, cutting him off before he could spew any more filth.
He merely chuckled, clearly entertained by her reaction. "Well, I guess that's enough for today. Wouldn’t want to spoil all the juicy details—I’d rather show you. And trust me, I will." He finished with a wink.
"Just get lost," Kyra snapped, done with his antics.
"As you wish, feisty," he said, turning on his heel. He didn’t leave without adding one last quip over his shoulder. "And if you continue to wink so often, then your eyeballs will certainly fall out."
"And that will make you super happy, am I right?" he called back, his voice laced with amusement.
"Hell yeah, you are!" Kyra answered with a chuckle, watching him disappear into the crowd.
"And now, what the hell was that?" Blaze’s voice pulled Kyra’s attention back.
"What the hell was what?" Kyra quickly wiped the lingering smirk off her face.
"You totally forgot about me in the middle of that ridiculous exchange, though I must admit it was quite the show." Blaze accused teasingly.
"I don’t know what you’re talking about." Kyra dismissed the comment.
"Besides, who was that?"
"Jarrod Pike, a member of the Blood on Fangs. He's—"
"Wait, what? He's a Fang?" Blaze interrupted, her expression shifting instantly.
"Yes, and maybe their leader," Kyra added. "The others treat him like a god. They practically kiss his feet."
"And I can't say I see why," Blaze muttered, unimpressed.
"And to top it all, he thinks he can get into my pants." Kyra scoffed, shooting another glare in his direction, though he was no longer in sight.
"Wait again, I thought everyone could get into your pants?" Blaze questioned, raising an eyebrow in intrigue.
"Yes, and I’m hella proud of that." Kyra grinned unapologetically. "I don’t like denying people this free gift of nature, and I like to put my talent on a good show. So, if you ask for it, who am I to say no?"
"Erm... okay..." Blaze hummed, encouraging her to continue.
"I mean everybody but them," Kyra clarified, her tone shifting to something more serious.
"And why is that?" Blaze asked, now completely intrigued.
"C’mon, girl. I'm not about to go f**k a damn Fang with blood on it. You can also call this my own way of peaceful protest."
"Protest against what?" Blaze furrowed her brows.
"Against my Papa f*****g my w***e of a Mama and birthing me in a f*****g brothel." Kyra rolled her eyes sarcastically.
"b***h, against the missing girl scheme, duh."
"Oh, but c'mon babe, you almost got me with your papa-mama thing," Blaze chuckled, but the humor faded fast.
"Which I’m seriously doubting now if you have any," Kyra teased before her tone darkened.
"So, how long has this thing been going on?" Blaze asked, her demeanor shifting in an instant.
"What?"
"This whole missing girl scheme," Blaze repeated, her voice laced with urgency.
"I don’t know… It’s been going on for a couple of years now, I think. All I can tell is that one day news started flying around about a missing girl, then another, and another… and some more after that." Kyra explained, frowning as she recalled the grim reality.
"But the recent ones have been happening for about two months now or more." Kyra continued, her expression troubled.
"Two months?! How the f**k didn't I know?" Blaze’s voice rose, startling Kyra out of her thoughts.
"Geez, now what the hell? Maybe you didn’t know because you’ve barely been around! You blink in and out of this place like a damn ghost. How were you supposed to know?" Kyra shot back, matching her frustration.
"Maybe if you put your ass down in one place for two whole minutes, then you might know these things."
"Hey, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to go off on you like that." Blaze sighed, rubbing a hand over her face. "I just got pissed that for two months or more, girls have been going missing, taken away, probably killed—and nobody has thought to find out who’s responsible."
"Maybe they have thought about it, but they’re scared of what they might be going up against," Kyra countered. "And if they even stand a chance against it. And that’s not completely stupid."
"So what? We’re just going to sit around and wait for it to get to us first? What if it’s you next? Or anyone around us?"
"Or you," Kyra cut in immediately.
"Yeah, sure, or me. But I’d rather go out there and face whatever it is head-on. And even if I don’t succeed, at least I’ll know I tried something." Blaze turned on her heel, ready to walk away.
"Hey, Blaze," Kyra called after her.
Blaze paused.
"You know what? You’re right. Whatever you have planned out, count me in." Kyra said with a determined look in her eyes.
Blaze smirked. "You're already in."
Kyra's stomach twisted slightly at the way Blaze said it. "And now I don't like the sound of that."
