Every one within the building. For the most part, people within the age range of 18-30 lived in the building. Hattie held a smile on her face, but it wasn't real. She hated events such as the one she held but she knew it was important. Hattie didn't even want to run the company in the future but she knew at the moment she was the best choice. However, what made it worse was the girl with blonde hair who had the guy she could not stop thinking about but, she couldn't let them ruin this. She literally just met the guy. Luckily, despite the twins not living in the same building, she had invited them. She made her rounds introducing herself but she hadn't stopped by Eros yet. Hattie made her way to where Luka sat and smiled at her, taking the seat right next to her. "I'm not very good at events such as this" Luka said, giving a little smile. "Why?" Hattie asked. "So, I'm a Physician Medium. One of the things involving that is that I can feel different people's emotions within a room," Luka explained. "Wow that's cool" Hattie said, turning to her new friend. "How does all of that work?" "So, there are different types of Physician Medium. I myself work with past life regressions", Luka explains. "So is Vale one too?" Hattie asked out of asked "Vale is an Intuitive Medium", Luka says. "He feels the emotions of other people and doesn't really speak out loud about it." " Wow, then maybe-" Hattie says, then looks over to Eros. "Never mind." "It's okay, you know" Luka says. "To ask if you don't understand something or need help." Luka says, after noticing Hattie looking over towards Eros. Luka held a small smile yet also sad. She knew a lot, including some other things that were going to slowly play their part. "I should know" Hattie said quietly as she remembered asking for help once when she was little only to not receive it. Nor were her questions ever answered. It affected her more often than she expressed most of the time. "I'm there for you, just remember that" Luka said, giving her a small smile before leading little to talk to some other people. Hattie looked over at Eros and the girl. She stood up and slowly walked over to them. Anxiety builded up in her chest and she was more nervous now than when everyone showed up. "Umm, Hi" Hattie says to both of them. "My name is Hattie, I'm the owner of the building, well some what" Eros looked at Hattie in shock as he actually pieced together why she was in the room in front of him and Julie's room. "I'm sorry. If I've offended you at one point", Eros says. "I was not. quiet in the best set of mind." Hattie took a deep breath, realizing that when he said something about being in a state of mind, Eros was talking about when they almost kissed. "It's fine" she says as she notices Vale from the corner of her eye walking over to them. "I'm Julie by the way", The girl with blond hair spoke up, looking into Hattie's eyes as if she was challenging her. To do what though? Hattie questioned as she narrowed her eyes. "Just so you both know, I have full control over the building and who lives there," Hattie says, looking at the woman, "and compared to other places within this district, it's pretty reasonable here" "I agree" Eros said, looking at Hattie as she spoke. "Hattie" a voice spoke her name and she turned towards Vale, who had been walking towards them. Hattie smiled and threw her arms over Vale, thankful for him coming over here. Vale held Hattie carefully in his grasp as the smell of her perfume caught his attention. "You smell great" Vale said as they both broke away from the Hug and Hattie smiled. "Thank you" Hattie said. "Vale?" Eros says, noticing that the two of them know each other. He felt a little discomfort as he looked between the two. Eros didn't know that Vale knew her. "Eros, Buddy" Vale said, giving Eros a bro-hug. "You two know each other?" Hattie asked. "Yea, Eros here and I have been friends since high school". Vale explained "Have been, or still are?" Eros says, questioning his best friend. "Still are," Vale says. "Vale" another soft voice spoke out behind Eros. Julie smiled at Vale and he opened his arms to give her a hug. "How have you been?" Julie asked. "Just running the store with Luka" he replied. "So, you all know each other?" Hattie asked, looking between Julie and Vale as well. "Yea, but I knew Eros longer than Jules. I met Julies about a year after the two of them were together." Vale explained. "How long have you two been together?" Hattie asked, looking at Julie. "About three years now", Julie answered without really thinking about it. She had gotten used to people asking that same question. Although if they were to ask her when they were to get married, that was a different story. Not that she couldn't see herself with him, their spark at the moment wasn't too strong. "Oh, wow" Hattie said "How about you and I go to do something, sometime this week maybe?" Vale asked, changing the subject. "like what?" Hattie asked as she turned her attention to Vale. "Anything" Vale says. "I can show you New York before you start school next week?" "Sure" She said giving him a small smile.
