Complete Strangers

Hattie came home later that night with a smile on her face and a bag full of stuff. She had got most of what she needed for her apartment. She got a cute bedsheet set, one of those things to put clothes in to store and hangers. Sher had also got notecards and envelopes for her neighbors. She had decided to "mail" them an invitation for dinner in a few days. Hattie smiled as she was coming up the stairs. She hadn't really thought about that guy or girl since she had left the restaurant. She just now wanted to prepare herself for school in a couple of weeks. She opened the door to her room when she heard sounds of a door behind her opening. "Your still not suppose to go in there" a voice called out, causing Hattie to groan in frustration. Hattie turned her body to see the man. She was growing more and more frustrated with him. How was she supposed to live here for four years? with this guy right across the hall from either way. "Would you please mind your own business?" Hattie said to the man. "I'm just warning you, the owners wouldn't like it." The man replied, throwing his hands up "Well, for you, they wouldn't like it, they wouldn't mind being with me" Hattie said back, rolling her eyes at what he said. Then again, he still didn't know she was actually one of the owners. "Why do you say that?" He asked. "We'll, I'd like to say I know them pretty well." Hattie said "what's your name anyway?" "Eros Smith" he says, "not that it's any of your business." "Then why'd you share it?" Hattie said and stepped closer towards his face to scare him. Eros took a deep breath but couldn't concentrate on what she was saying. His eyes were wondering at her lips. With how close they were, it would only take less than a second to kiss her. He took a gulp. "I wouldn't want to live around a complete stranger" he says in the small trance he's in. "Sure..." she says, "but you don't even know my name." "What is your name?" Eros asked as he felt her breath on his lips making them tingle. He wanted to push her against a wall and kiss her with everything he had. The way that she looked at him made him want to lose control. She got closer to him, if that was even possible. Close to his ear by her tippy toes. "Hattie" She whispered in his ear, making him shiver as he used his strength to push her against her door, causing it to open. Making the two of them fall onto the floor. "You don't want to play this game", she said, as she looked up at him with Eros on top of her. Holding her arms as if he was going to keep her there. "Eros". She said his name and he looked into her deep blue eyes as he felt his hands on her wrist. He loved the way his name rolled off her tongue. The last thing that was on his mind was the girl he was supposed to be in love with was across the hall. He wanted to take this girl that felt so familiar right where they were. He did't even care about closing the door. "Hattie". He said her name and it rolled off the tip of his tongue. He looked at her lips and just wanted to take them... but he couldn't. Eros shook his head and quickly got up, helping Hattie up as well. "Why do you feel so familiar when I don't even know you?" Eros asked. "I could say the same thing" Hattie said as she brushed the dirt off of her shorts "why..."
