Chapter Seventeen The morning after I convinced Walsh to help me, the Arc Domes seemed like the same normal Hell. I went to guard training and met the rest of the group in the bay. After hand-to-hand drills, we worked with the guns again. Walsh was there, but he didn’t speak to me or even really look at me. I didn’t want to chance interfering with whatever plan he had to save us, so when Beck dismissed the group, I just let Walsh leave without trying to chase after him. When I got home, I woke Mari up and asked her to make breakfast for three before breaking in through Harper’s window again. Her room smelled worse than it had the night before. I forced her into the shower, found clean clothes in the back of her closet, put her mound of dirty clothes into a bag to be sent to the laundry
