THE CURSED PRINCE

It was a cold and dark night of winter. As always, our hostel was quiet as everyone retired to bed early. Suddenly, we heard a weeping sound which creeped everyone out . everyone jerked up from their bed and so did I. Everyone panicked as to where that sound was coming from. I went to a window facing the ground. The ground was, as ever, lighted by the bulbs. Suddenly, I caught the bushes shaking. I looked a little closer and yes, I was right. I went out and checked behind the bushes. As I saw something, I gasped. It was a small and weird creature. " I have never seen this kind of creature before" I said to myself. He was so scared and lonely, like he was lost. I took my hand forward but he took a step back. "Don't worry! I'll do no harm to you, you can trust me ", I assured him. He relaxed a bit and came forward, putting his little hands in mine. He started shining, shining so brightly that I couldn't keep my eyes open. I shut them down and when I felt the brightness decreasing, I opened my eyes and he was there smiling. I looked closely and saw how cute he was, his ears curved in a cylindrical shape, eyes fully round giving his face a cute texture, his lips soft and delicate with a spherical face which was a cherry on top. I was so into him that I didn't notice our captain calling me. "Mona, come fast, we need to sleep now, it's already too late"she commanded. "Yeah coming!!"I replied. I once again glanced at that creature, he had a sad face on. "I can't leave you here all alone,but I can't take you with me if someone saw you, both of us would be in big trouble." I tried convincing him, but after hearing my words his eyes glistened with a thin layer of tears. He was on the verge of crying. "OK, I'll take you with me " I was not able to resist him and took him with me , hiding him under my jacket. I was going through the corridor when a girl bumped into me. "Aaahh!" the creature screamed. "What was that?" the girl asked. "N-nothing, it was j-just me,see." I pinched the creature, making him scream. "Aaahh!" "See, it was just me! hehe"? "OK"she said and went away. I quickly paced towards my room and locked the door. I sighed in relief, but then, I heard weeping sounds coming from somewhere in my room. Then I realised that creature, he was the one weeping. I took him out of my jacket and tried to comfort him. "Hey! Don't cry, what happened tell me!" He showed me his belly having a red mark on it , and now I get it , it was there because I pinched him there. He was whimpering in pain. I just went through my cupboard and took out a first aid kit and started treating his wound and as I touched him, he again started shining, but this time it was a soft shine as if he was enjoying it . He was blushing and smiling, making his blue skin turn red. I looked at him smiling. He stopped shining once I was done . I placed the kit back in its place and sat in front of him. "So, who are you and where did you come from?" I asked. He said nothing but just showed me the ring he was wearing. It was made of pure gold with a red crystal in it , it had some kind of logo on it. "OK, leave it , we'll talk about this tomorrow." It was like he was waiting for me to say that, as he slept as soon as I spilled those words out of my mouth. "Seriously!" I was shocked as to how someone could sleep so fast. He snored a little, making me chuckle at his cuteness. "So cute!!?"I said, covering him with a duvet and tucking myself beside him. Well! I am not gonna sleep on the floor.
