FIVE
After breakfast Minnie and Sandy went next door to check on Bobby. Andrew let them in when Sandy knocked on the door.
“How is Bobby?” asked Minnie.
“He is the same. He hasn’t awakened, yet,” said Andrew.
“Have you seen the news?” asked Sandy.
“Yes, I saw it earlier. Alex saw it, too. He will be over here soon. He wants to talk about the story the police department is putting out,” said Andrew.
Minnie left them talking and went to Bobby’s room to check on him. She went in and quietly stood at his bedside. The nurse joined her there.
“He is doing fine,” said the nurse. “The doctor will be by to check on him later this morning.”
Minnie smiled at her and thanked her before returning to the living room and joining Sandy. Sandy put an arm around her when she stopped at his side.
