Minnie and Sandy were interrupted when Minnie’s phone rang. Minnie looked at the screen and, when she saw Louanne’s name, quickly said hello.
“Hey,” said Louanne.
“Has my mom called you?” asked Minnie.
“No, she hasn’t called, but I wanted to let you know Cathy, Sari, and I are heading out tomorrow to scout some colleges. We want to see which ones we like best,” said Louanne.
“I was just thinking about checking out the campuses myself.” said Minnie.
“Do you want to come with us?” asked Louanne.
“I’ll let you know. Will you let your mom know I’m thinking of going with you?” asked Minnie.
“Sure,” laughed Louanne. “I’ll tell her you are going with us, just in case your mom calls.”
