Three days later...
Landon Brooks was finally discharged from the hospital.
His knee brace was still firmly in place.
The doctors had strictly forbidden hockey.
Running.
Jumping.
Or doing anything remotely stupid.
Unfortunately...
His best friend was Parker Sullivan.
Which meant...
Doing something stupid was almost guaranteed.
PARKER'S POV
"Ladies and gentlemen!"
Parker climbed onto a chair in the middle of his living room.
Everyone immediately groaned.
Ryker sighed.
"He's about to embarrass himself."
Ethan nodded.
"As always."
Parker ignored them dramatically.
"I officially declare..."
He raised both arms.
"...TONIGHT IS LANDON'S WELCOME HOME PARTY!"
Everyone clapped.
Landon laughed.
"You know I was only in the hospital for three days."
