Chapter 3

1004 Words
Felicia's POV Madam Theresa was about to close the door when I stopped her. "What should I put on?" I asked in a shaky voice, looking at the hotel card given to me. "Are you a kid? You need to look good and sexy if you are going to get what you are looking for." She said bluntly and closed the door. I clutched the card in my hands and immediately went back inside. "Are you going somewhere?" Daniel asked me as I walked towards the wardrobe to get changed. "Yes, Daniel. I need to be gone for a while. I will be back." "Do you have to go?" Daniel raised his eyebrows as he looked at me. "Daniel, we need all the help we can get. I need to be able to pay your school fees, and without having enough money, I can't. Don't worry, I will be back before you know it." I picked a dress my parents bought me one Christmas Eve and wore it. "How do I look?" I asked, staring at Daniel after applying a light makeup. "You look good." I kissed him on the head and dashed out of the house. I was nervous, but I didn't want him to see that I was. As I flagged down a cab to the hotel, my mind crossed Sophia once more. It has been months since we last spoke to each other. After she had stolen my mate, I made sure to cut her off. She wasn't the same person I had known, or should I say I wasn't in a caliber anymore. I read frequently how she attended every big party flaunting her parents wealth. And James, he never reached out to apologize or tell me that he was sorry for cheating on me with my best friend. Well, I wasn't in the position to think about all of that. What I needed now was to get the fee for my brother's admission. "We are here." The cabman said, bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked out of the cab, and I was mesmerized by what was right in front of me. The hotel was gigantic, and I could see a different caliber of men going in and out. It wasn't just any regular hotel. I was nervous, but I managed to hide it. I walked into the hotel, and I met the receptionist, who looked up at me. She could tell I had never been into the hotel before with the look on my face. "How can I help you?" She asked, flashing a set of white teeth at me. I don't know what to say, so I gave her the card I was holding. "Ah, you are seeing Mr. Grant Whitmore. He is in room 101." The lady said, giving back the card to me. "Thank you." I said nervously, but her words stopped me, making my heart race. "He isn't going to love what you are putting on. You need to show him more flesh." I gulped down the thick saliva at the back of my throat and kept walking. It almost looks like I was walking into the lion's den. My eyes were teary; it had been months since I cried, and the last one was when my parents died. I tried to clean my tears, but the more I tried to hold it in, the more they kept pouring. The lady walking past me whispered each time they saw my face. Some looked at me with a funny look while the others whispered and giggled as they walked past me. I was like a lady that was disvirgined against her will. I wanted to go back, but then I remembered I was owing Madam Theresa a month's house rent, and I need to pay my brother's admission fees. I cleaned the tears and applied a bit of makeup. Standing in front of the door, I knocked gently. At first, there was no answer. My heart pounded against my chest, anxiously waiting for a reply. After a minute of waiting, I decided to walk away. No one was in I turned slightly when the door opened. "Come in." The voice said without feeling or warmth. The hair at my back stood up, and I felt my leg go numb as I walked into the room. I tried to have a look at his face, but I couldn't. "Do you know why you are here?" The male voice asked again. I managed to nod. "I doubt that if you know why you are here, then you shouldn't be dressed that way. This is a hotel, and you are here to pleasure me, not dressed like that." He said again. I looked at the dress and back at him. I don't see anything wrong with what I was wearing, but then I don't have a choice. "Are you going to order anything, or should we get right down to business?" He sat on the bed looking at me. My face felt hurt and reddish. A part of me wanted to get up, but the other part was drawn to this strange man. I could feel his wolf wanting me, but then I don't know him. My stomach gave a funny sound, and I knew I was hungry. I have not had anything to eat since I got back from work. "Food it is." The man picked up his comm phone and called the receptionist. The food was brought in, and I immediately started to devour it. I glanced at his face each time and wondered what was going on. Immediately I was done with my food. He ordered me to have a shower, which I did without saying no. I soon walked in and looked at the bed. "You are wearing this." He said without looking at my face still. I glanced at the bed and back at his face. "You are not serious right now, are you?" I asked, staring at him like a zombie.
