Meeting new friends

The cute nerd introduced herself to me as Tinah Hartson.
Then later on the bell for out of class rung.
And everyone seemed exicted to move out but l wasnt.
"Kelly,let's go have some lunch",Tinah said.
"No,you go a head l will join you later",I replied.
"Its ok if you dont want to,l will take that for a no"
She then left disappointed but nothing was to do then.As soon as she left ,some girls came towards me but l didn't bother.
one then caught my book while another sat on my desk to distract me from.what l was doing.
"Hey,new b***h,learn you limits".one of them said.
Now at this point l was thinking why are the girls mean to me.
"hey please give me my space l dont have your time"l said
"we shall but then stay away from Marcus " they said.
Then they left and l sat there puzzled l regretted why l had gone to th canteen with Tinah, l felt like crying but then when l was about to cry someone brought their hands closer to my cheeks guess what??it was the Marcus l had been warned to stay away from.
"Hey beauty, dont cry "He said rubbing the tears that had started cascading down my cheeks .
"But...."l tried to reply to him then he put his finger to my lips and said "Ssh,dont say anything l saw all what happened to you because of me and you didnt fire back".
I was just there puzzled when Tinah entered the class .
" Am so sorry ,l didn't mean to bump in to you guys".
"No it's fine anyway l was leaving".Marcus said.
He then left the room and on this way out he told Tinah to take care of me.
Now my mind was confused why was he concerned for me?,is he trying to court me?But l had no answers to that.
"Hey, kelly are you with him"Tinah said.
"Why ask am here".
"As you are lost in thought "
l then explained to Tinah whatever had happened and she told me that the girls group that attacked me was known as ABQ(Always beauty queens)the most popular girls in school of which Alexa was the richest girl in the group and was the group leader then Lexis and Aris.
The group was known to be in love with the hottest boys like Marcus whose father owned half the school shares,Thomas the principal's son and Darson who was the only poor one in the group .
When Tinah told me this l knew l was in total s**t because if anything happened and l get suspended from school then my mum would get pissed at me and where will she get money to take me to another school.
So we left school and Tinah walked me up to home,first day at school done but was the worst experience.
