Chapter 6

The whole day went like a blur for Josephine. She couldn't focus on any lesson. So when her science teacher allowed them to leave after the last lesson, the girl didn't waste any time. Josephine literally sprinted towards the door. The girl didn't even changed her clothes. In full uniform, she left school grounds and walked towards the small cafe on Church Street, wondering on her way why did Anna choose this cafe and on this street.

Josie had no idea that someone, who will become close to her heart was watching her carefully the whole day and was now stalking her towards the cafe. However, he decided to wait for her outside, when he smelled the place. Full of witches and pixies. 'Damn it' he thought. Now he knew exactly why Anna decided to meet Josephine there. So no one unwanted will hear their conversation. Hei knew that even if he tried, he won't be able to hear a thing. The cafe was probably under every possible protection spell known to witches. So he waited outside, unnoticeable for anyone, he waited for love of his life to leave the place so he could talk to her, for at least five minutes.

Josephine stepped into the cozy place. Everything in there screamed magic. The cafe looked like a living room of a Victorian royal. Instead of chair and tables, people or lack of them at the moment, were seating down on small sofas. Josie could imagine small conversations taking place there. However, besides Anna there was no one there, not even a barrister.

''You came.'' said Anna after, noticing her.

''Yeah I had to come, you promised to tell me everything.''

''Yes I did, sit down. We have lots to talk about.''

Josephine sat down comfortably on one of the sofas.

''Ask.''

''How did my father died?'' Josephine asked in mere whisper.

''I do not know exactly how, the only people who know that are members of Dragon Clan. We never even got his body. Can you imagine? We witches and warlocks, we have to perform a special ceremony that will free soul from the rotting body. Then the flesh is burned and the soul is entering the greater universe, but now we don't have a body. We can't perform a ceremony, his soul is probably still locked inside his rotting body.'' Anna looked disgusted when she said the last part. Josephine felt something inside her guts. Her father ended up with this fate? Why?

''What's Dragon Clan?''

''It's a pack of werewolves, they have their main base in Shanghai. Every single ware belongs to it. The clan counts itself thousands of years and only a direct blood offspring's of the first wolf are kind off immortal. They can live up to six hundred years.''

''My step-father Lucca, he's a vampire isn't he?''

''Yes vampires are wicked creatures, I am surprised they actually joined were's to fight your father. Lucca probably knew about your existence already that's why he married your mother. He wants either to destroy you or have control over you.''

''In my vision Lucca said that both my grandparents went mad. Why?''

Anna looked at her with sadness in her eyes ''I can't tell you that. There are only few people who can. I'll try to find you their contact information for you.''

''Thank you. One last thing, why exactly I am so powerful that my dad had to hide me?''

''That's for you to find out. We had agreement that I will start training you. Come here on Sunday at 8 am sharp. Then we will start the training.''

After that Anna stood up and left. Josephine followed soon after.

It felt like forever waiting for her, but Hei wasn't the one to give up easily. When Josephine left the cafe he slowly approached her.

''Hey'' the girl jumped a little from the suprise.

''Oh hey Ling right?'' she asked.

''Yes umh Josephine I would like to apologies for the way I was yesterday. New places make me uncomfortable.''

She smiled at him and his heart melted. ''Don't worry about it Ling, I didn't mind it. I understand the change of place probably made you overwhelmed. You feeling better today I hope?''

'She worries about us.' his wolf said to him.

'Yes I feel better, is it possible for me to somehow apologize to you over coffee maybe? It doesn't have to be today.''

Josephine giggled. 'We made her happy.'' his wolf was delighted.

''I would love to get coffee with you.''

''I am glad, so when are you free?''

''Well I don't have anything better to do today. We can go now.''

''Amazing let's go.'' Hei said and started walking. He stopped after he realized she's not following him.

''Why are you not going?''

''There's a coffee place here.'' she said and pointed at the cafe behind her.

''I know but there's also a cafe not far away from here where they serve my favorite vegan coffee'' he said quickly. 'The hell?!' he thought to himself.

Josephine started at him for a small while. ''Are you vegan?'' she asked surprised.

''Not really I like some of vegan products and I would like for you to try this coffee.'' he said 'you are an idiot.' he's wolf said.

''Okay no problem I just hope the coffee is as good as you said.'' Josie said while laughing and followed him to another coffee place.

While Anna stood not far away watching them.

The older woman said to herself. ''She's the chosen one. The prophecy says that her reincarnation will bring peace between the two and will mate one. I guess the ancestors were right.'' Anna smiled to herself. 'This girl will finally end everything'' .

Another older woman sat down in her favorite armchair. Her ginger hair were put in a small bun on her head. You could see some grey hair in between ginger locks. The photo album in her hands, she was looking at the photo of her daughter. Her baby that looked exactly like her. Anastasia had a bad feeling. Picking up her phone she dialed the number she didn't use for a while. The person from the other side, picked the phone after second signal. ''Yes?'' asked female voice. ''Hannah it's me Anastasia. Edward's wife. I need your help.''
