Cheater Cheater

  Draven's POV

    I froze at the chaos that was erupting around me.  People were fighting for food on the ground, tearing bags apart, punching and hitting each other.  Alora sat with the dead man laying in her hands.  Tears were streaming down her face.  Some were screaming at her that she was a murderer and calling her names.  One woman was on the phone with the authorities and I knew I had to do something.  

    I closed my eyes and held my hands out as everything around me froze.  The people stopped moving and I waved my hand over the dead man until he disappeared into thin air.  I held my palms up to everyone around me, "Forget."  They wouldn't remember the murder that had just happened.  I looked to Alora and closed my hand, "Asleep."  She collapsed into a ball on the ground and I picked her up to carry her as I unfroze the scene around me.  I carried her home and into the large mansion up to my bed.  I waved my hand over her, "Awake."

    Her eyes shot open and she sat up, "Draven, why are we home?  How did I get here?  Where is the man I killed?"  "Shh, I took care of everything.  You are in no trouble.  I brought you home, you passed out from crying. Everything will be fine, it was self defense and you didn't mean to." "But Draven, I killed someone.  I took a man's life from him!  I can't just forget that!"  "I know love, but right now you need to rest, you're exhausted.  I will be downstairs if you need me."  I kissed her head as she nodded and laid down to go back to sleep.

    I reached the bottom of the stairs to see Damion standing there applauding.  "Well done my boy.  I knew her heart would darken, but I did not know you would accomplish it so fast.  You have made me so proud.  You have exceeded my expectations for you."  "Damion, do we need to involve her anymore?  I feel like we have already darkened her heart so much."  Damion stepped closer, "You care for her?  You truly have feelings for her do you not?"  

    I stepped back, "Absolutely not.  She is just someone I'm going to f*** and make my child with.  I care for no one but Sasha.  You know that I am only here to do a job and that is all.  I do not care about her."  He didn't looked convinced but he nodded, "Fine we shall see if that is true.  I am going to allow you to return home for the night, go see your people.  She will sleep while you are away."  I nodded and thanked him as I closed my eyes and appeared back in the Underworld.  

    Everything looked so dark compared to the Earth.  I found myself standing at Sasha's house.  I needed to see her and know that I still wanted her.  I don't know if I was trying to convince myself or her, but I knew I needed to be here right now and find out.  I let myself in the house and looked around, "Sasha?  Are you here baby?"  "Draven, is that you?"  She came out in a purple nightie and looked very surprised to see me. I looked her up and down and pulled her into my arms.  "You don't look happy to see me?  Are you busy?  Damion allowed me to come back for the night so I wanted to spend time with you."  

    "No I'm not busy, of course not.  Let's go out, I'll change my clothes and we can go to the bar."  I went outside and lit a cigarette to wait for her.  It wasn't something I did often, but I needed it tonight.  I couldn't believe Damion thought I cared for Alora.  She was nothing more than a job to me.  I only needed her to accomplish this task and have my child take over the world.  I didn't want her or need her, I would get rid of her as soon as this job was done and that was it.  I just needed to remind myself of who I was and what I was doing.  I couldn't loose sight of what had to be done.

    "I'm ready! I am so happy to see you baby!"  Sasha looked beautiful and I couldn't but feel aroused seeing her in a low cut silver dress that barely covered her backside.   We got into the car and drove to the bar.  I could've just thought it and made us appear there, but in the Underworld the Children of the Darkness liked to have sports cars.  I had a red Lamborghini, being the chosen one had its perks.  

    We pulled into the bar and walked in to order drinks.  "So I have watched you through the looking glass up there.  You seem to be doing quite well with that girl.  She's quite beautiful isn't she?"  I scoffed, "She is nothing to me."  "It didn't look like she meant nothing to you.  It seemed that you care for her quite a bit."  "Sasha, I have to look the part to do this job.   She has to believe I'm falling for her, Children of the Light won't just screw anyone."  

    "I suppose you're right.  I just worry that your alliances are shifting and you may be loosing focus."  "That's nonsense Sasha, you know I could care less about women besides you."  "I suppose so."  She turned and her face lit up as someone walked in. "Nero!  You're here!"  I turned to see my best friend coming in, "Welcome home Brother."  He pulled me in and I laughed, "It's good to be back Brother."  I looked behind him to see my other friend Alec behind him.  He was making eyes at Sasha and she was smiling coyly at him.  I may have been gone, but I wasn't blind.  

    I turned to Sasha as I felt my eyes shift, "Sasha, are you sleeping with Alec?"  She froze knowing she couldn't resist my trance, "Yes, I was lonely and felt like I needed someone.  I was worried you were falling for Alora and I saw you with Roxy so I decided to find someone too."  I turned to Alec as the trance broke, "Are you aware of who I am friend?  Do you know that anything that is mine is untouchable?  Sasha was off limits and you moved in on her while I was gone.  I am the Prince of Darkness and you will pay for this.  I closed my eyes and imagined him on fire and opened them to him screaming.  He was being burned alive and I smiled as it happened.  Nero looked at the ground and said nothing, he knew better than to go against me.  I watched as Alec ran out of the bar screaming.

    I turned to Sasha, "Tell me was he at your house  today when I arrived?"  "Yes he was, but baby you have to understand I have watched you with Roxy for years and now I watch you everyday fall for that Child of the Light.  It is disgusting and it kills me to see you with her caring for her the way you should be caring for me!"  "Sasha, I am the Prince and if I choose to have 100 women that is my prerogative.  You should have trusted my loyalty and feelings for you.  You were in line to be a queen beside me and now, you're nothing but a whore."  

    "Draven, please forgive me.  I love you I didn't mean to betray you!  I want nothing more than to be with you!  I am so so sorry!"  "Get out of my sight Sasha, I'll call you if I need a late night f***."  I watched as she ran out of the bar and felt myself become harder and even darker.  The only person I had ever cared about had betrayed me and now I was determined to fulfill my full potential.  I walked out and relocated myself back to Darkhaven.  I was going to accomplish this task no matter who I had to hurt.
