Threats

"What are you doing here?"  Draven smirked, "Well I believe I was invited on a date with a beautiful girl tonight, have you seen her?"  I scowled at him, "Very funny, but I told you I didn't wish to see you anymore.  We are not good for each other Draven."  He grabbed her hand and pulled her into him.  "Please forgive me, it is only you, there is no other woman I desire like you."  His eyes burned with need and I felt the heat from his touch.  "Let's see how tonight goes."  He smiled as if this satisfied him.       I pulled Alice aside, "You knew it was Draven?  How could you not tell me?"  "Alora, he really likes you and you are clearly really into him so just give it a chance.  It can't be over before it's even had the chance to start."  I sighed she was probably right, I at least needed to give him a chance.  I was here to learn about humans so I could help them and dating was part of that.     The man behind the counter handed us a strange thing called a club and a ball.  We were supposed to line up the ball and hit it into a hole.  I thought this sounded very strange, who would stand around hitting small balls into impossibly small holes?  I watched as Alice and Tyler went and cheered when she got it in.  What a funny thing to be excited about.  I stepped up and hit the ground in front of the ball but nothing happened.       I tried again and hit the ball into the next area.  Draven chuckled and came up behind me. "Let me show you."  He positioned himself behind me and put his arms around mine.  He slowly guided it and hit the ball.  I felt our bodies moving as one and totally forgot that we were not alone. I even forgot that we were playing this game until Alice said, "You got a hole in one!"  My ball went in the hole!  What a strange sense of accomplishment.       We continued to play until we finished the game.  I was in last place but I didn't care.  I got to see a side of Draven I had never seen before.  He had been goofy every time I hit the ball, getting on the ground to watch it roll down, standing over the hole and making faces, climbing on things, I was laughing the whole evening.  If he was trying to win me back, he was doing a great job.  I ended up loosing, but I didn't mind.  Draven had won and Alice came in second, which I think Tyler let her beat him.  He was clearly more athletic than he was letting on.  She and Draven were both very competitive and she only lost by two points.     We walked to put away our clubs as Draven held my hand.  I felt peace being near him like it was just meant to be.  "I'll be right back,"  he said as he kissed my forehead.  I smiled to myself until I heard someone's voice.  "Alora, come over here."   I looked around the corner to see Apollo standing there.  He looked beautiful in his regular clothes.  He had on jeans that hugged his muscles and an olive green button up shirt to compliment his hair color.     "Apollo, what are you doing here?"  "I know I am not supposed to be, but I was down for another task and I had to see you.  You are in danger Alora."  My eyes widened, "What do you mean danger?"  "I mean someone among you is deceiving you.  I cannot say anymore, but you must be careful."  I began to respond when I felt him, "Who's this?  Is something wrong?"  Apollo's eyes narrowed with an emotion I had never seen him show before.     "Draven, this is Apollo, my friend from back home. Apollo this is Draven my.."  "Boyfriend, I am her boyfriend.  Nice to meet you."  He held out his hand and Apollo grabbed it, "I normally do not mess with the likes of you, you know who I am."  Draven looked on calmly, "Alora, could you please go get us a drink, I forgot to buy one."  He handed me money and I nodded and walked away.       "Of course I know who you are Son of Michael which means that you know who I am.  I think it best you fly back home and sing with your harp and leave us alone down here."  "You know I am bound to secrecy and cannot tell her who you are.  She has to choose her own destiny, the Maker gives us a free will.  Do not worry though, she will see right through your darkness and when she does and you break her heart, I will be there to pick up the pieces."       Draven smiled a wicked smile, "You need not worry about such things.  She will rule by my side as my Queen of Darkness with our child.  I will never break her heart, she is mine for eternity now.  You know the prophecy."  "I know Alora and I know she will never become dark for you."  "Oh, but she already is Apollo.  Run back home now, there's nothing for you here.  You may want to find a new wife too, because we both know that isn't going to happen."  Apollo looked disgusted, "This isn't over and you know it.  We will meet again."     Draven walked over to Alora and smiled, "I meant to tell you how incredibly sexy you looked tonight."  She smiled at him as leaned in closer and kissed her with a passion she had never been kissed before.  It was in that moment after talking to Apollo that he knew he truly would make her his queen.  He had to follow the destiny and that included her being by his side for all eternity whether they wanted it or not.  He deepened the kiss as she leaned into him, their bodies morphing in to one.  Suddenly all the lights went out and there was nothing but darkness.
