Sting and Rogue stood their in silence. Never knowing quite what to do after the confession. I mean, how are you supposed to act exactly?
"Well" Sting breaks the silence, a grin on his face.
Rogue gives Sting a strange look, before Sting continues:
"Let's go and get...food!"'
Rogue deadpans slightly, shaking his head.
"All that time...that is what was on your mind?" Rogue questions incredulously.
"Well, the debate of coffee or cake was on my mind for a while" Sting admits sheepishly.
"...The confession was on mine" Rogue replies hesitantly.
"...I guess the incident earlier is still on my mind" Sting comments, the guilty feeling returning.
"What do you mean?" Rogue asks gently seeing how guilty he actually was sort of surprised him. He easily shook things off usually.
"...What if I ruined Natsu's chances with his mate?"
"You haven't" Rogue reassures. "I'm pretty sure he would be storming in here if he did for one. And two, Gray confessed. Do you think he will stay mad for eternity" Rogue,
"Yeah I guess you're right. I just know, it wasn't right for me to say that to Gajeel with Gray there" Sting mumbles.
"Well, I don't think it was just you at all. I started asking the question for one. And I believe Gray figured something was going on anyway. Why else would he be listening to our conversation?" Rogue points out watching as Sting started gathering some things.
"Where you going?"
"Where are we going you mean?" Sting smirks slightly.
"The coffee shop."
Rogue laughs slightly. Causing Sting to grin.
"But it's completely different this time!" Sting announces turning to Rogue.
"Oh, how so?"
"We're going as boyfriend and boyfriend. Not just best friends" Sting replies cheekily causing Rogue to blush lightly.
"So...boyfriends now huh?"
"Well...I think so?" Sting asks slightly.
Rogue smiles at him causing Sting to blush all over again.
"Yeah."

Natsu returned to the guild the next morning. Knowing a lot of people will most likely bombard him with questions. Walking into the guild, he noticed that it was actually quite normal. People greeted him as usual before returning to what they were doing.
Looking round he spotted Gray by a table, with Lucy and Erza. He looked him usual self, which made Natsu relieved.
'Thank god.'
"Hey guys!" Natsu greeted with a grin.
"Hello Natsu" Erza greeted, digging onto her fourth strawberry cake that day.
"Hey Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Hey" Gray said simply. Going back to some sort of ice sculpture he was doing.
"What's that?" Natsu asks curiously causing Gray to look at him. Natsu could see a hint of sadness on his eyes before he covered it up.
"It's for Ur."
"Oh" was all Natsu said. Slightly regretting asking the question.
"Don't worry about it, I'm not mourning. In fact I'm doing it in her honor, based on the fact I need to start moving on a bit more" Gray reassures, giving Natsu a small smile before it quickly vanishes off his face. Just as quickly as it came. Natsu grins, causing Lucy to shake her head.
"These two."
"So, are you two. A couple? You know, boyfriend and boyfriend?" Erza asks, looking up from her strawberry cake causing them to freeze.
"I don't know" Gray admits honestly, breaking the silence.
"I thought you guys would be sorting out this...what is it? Mating season stuff?" Lucy questions slightly.
"We said we would sort it out on the way" Natsu responds. He also noticed the fact that Gray had almost completed his ice sculpture. It was a picture of Ur, and Natsu had to admit it was pretty good. Although he would never say it out loud.
Gray watched Natsu intently before smirking.
"What?" Natsu asks irritated at his smirk.
"Unless...you want us to be."
That simple sentence made Natsu state at him. Almost wide eyes but he wouldn't let himself. Not give him something to make his ego any bigger than it is. Natsu snickers at the thought causing Gray to raise an eyebrow. Lucy was squealing and Erza was watching intently, she wasn't even even eating her strawberry cake.
"Sure popsicle" Natsu replies causally. But it was anything but casual for him at the time. Inside he as the happiest he had been in a while.
Gray rolls his eyes, obviously not believing causal act.
"What did you want a bigger reaction to fuel that big ego of yours?"
"Nah, I was just rolling my eyes at how much you covering it up" Gray replies smartly. "And I think my ego is perfect the way it is. Thank you very much."
"Sure, whatever you say ice princess."
Erza just shakes her head. She was hoping that this would stop them from scrabbling. But that would be too easy wouldn't it?
Lucy was feeling happy for her best friend, noticing the small grin on his face as Gray goes back to his ice sculpture.
"Boys will be boys" Erza sighs, causing Lucy to giggle.
"What did you expect them to stop fighting?"
"I don't know what I expected" Erza chuckles slightly. Natsu giving them a confused look.
"Don't worry about it, it's just you know. Girl stuff. You go back to...whatever you was doing" Lucy reassures giving Erza a side glance.
Erza quickly catches on and nods, going back to her strawberry cake.
"You know snowflake? Sometimes I think they're weirder than us."
"You never know" Gray chuckles, looking up at Natsu who was watching him with curiosity.
"What is it?"
"Huh?"
"You keep watching me. More specifically my hands" Gray comments, raising his eye brow in question once more.
"You're..a little good that's all" Natsu admits, turning away with a huff.
"..."
Gray doesn't say anything. He knows what Natsu is trying to say, and smiles a small smile.
"Thanks."
