Kat crossed her arms and glared at the beast in the field in front of them. Stupid Briley and her stupid ideas. If she knew this is where they were going, she would have never gotten up so early. The previous night she’d kept Griffin, but she’d woken up from a nightmare and insisted on being taken home. Kat had tried to calm her down, so as not to interrupt Briley and Leah’s date night, but Griffin wasn’t having any of it. “Kat, really.
