There was no reason for Morgan to stay at the beach any longer so she got ready to leave. But as she walked back to grab her bike, she noticed a small boat coming in across the water from the large yacht the Casales owned. Holding her hand up against her forehead, she squinted against the brightness of the sun, surprised to see Kathy was the sole occupant other than the driver. As the boat got closer, Kathy saw her friends and started waving. Morgan crossed her arms against her chest and waited for the boat to make it to shore.
Moments later Kathy was running across the sand to meet Morgan. "Hey Morgan, what"s up?" she called out.
She ignored her sister, and from the looks Jenny was tossing her way, Morgan could understand why it was clear Jenny was not happy that Kathy had been aboard
