"They're about to take Milena to Night Howlers Pack. Charlotte will go with them now. I thought you'd like to say goodbye to her," he announces kindly and gently, a sweet smile forming in my direction that makes my heart melt a little more.
I return the smile and nod at his suggestion, "Yeah. If I don't say goodbye, Charlotte definitely won't forgive me."
A delightful laugh escapes Matthew, and it sends shivers down my spine. I move closer to him, his scent making me want to kiss him even more. He accompanies me to the yard of my territory, where Kylian, Amelia, and Jordan are playing hopscotch with Charlotte. They're all smiling and laughing, the scene giving me a sense of belonging and happiness. Stonehaven Pack is my family now, my home.
