Being a medical assistant whilst studying was a huge plus. I needed all the experiences I could gather. But being a medical assistant who had to move into her patient's home was a walk on broken glass. Worse still, when said boss was Julian f*****g Romero.
The cafe boomed with tension as I stared at Enzo, his best friend. Julian had said he was going to be absent from the meeting.
