Even though it was too early in the morning and the place did not seem familiar to him, Alexander was still worried as he drove to the address that Aria had given him.
In addition to the fact that Aria's car was parked in the driveway, he could tell by the smell coming from the house that she was inside. The house was not particularly nice-looking, but it appeared to have been abandoned for a while.
Alexander never got a chance to knock on the door because Aria threw herself at him while sobbing as soon as he got to the steps.
"Hey, hey, it is okay," he said as he gave her a hug back.
In between sobs, Aria said, "Where were you Alex? I called you a hundred times," without breaking the hug.
