Alpha Bladen POV The moment my foot crossed into Crestfallen territory, my wolf stiffened beneath my skin. There was no sound, smell or wall to mark the boundary. No shift in the air, no sudden change in terrain. Just a quiet that settled too quickly, too completely, like the land itself was holding its breath.
