24 The day after the coroner’s office announced its findings, the case got a paragraph on page twelve of the mainstream paper. A reporter from a paper in the community left a phone message he wanted a quote, but Eli hadn’t yet returned the call. He’d promised to buy Keiko a lavish lunch, but first he thought he should take care of old business and drop by the halfway house. Vince greeted him with, “I take it all back.
